... to ask which if these Minions wallpaper murals you like best, and what colour would you paint the other walls?

Hi all

We are moving our almost 2 year old girl out of the nursery and into a bigger bedroom. She is obsessed with Minions. I love wallpaper murals. We have a Toy Story one in the playroom that looks amazing. So I wanted to do one of these murals on one wall of her new bedroom and then paint the other 3 walls.

So I just want to know which you prefer and what colour you would do the other walls?

I prefer the first one less busy, other walls either pale yellow or pale purple

I'd go for all the minions. The other one could scare her in the night with the purple minion 🤔

You could use a light yellow or light purple it would match the two you've chosen.

Humpty and KungFu - thanks for the replies. I like both and was also thinking pale lemon or pale lilac too for the other walls.

I like the second one. The purple Minion looks mean. I'd put a pale yellow on the other walls.

First one for me too...the crowd of minions hurts the eyes.

Oh you lot are no help whatsoever - that makes it about 50/50. I was hoping one would be a lot more popular ha ha.

Second one, yellow walls.

Well either really but at a push the first one. I think it's quite a graphic print and a pale yellow or purple is too Winnie the Pooh. I would go for an off white or French grey.

First one looks more fun. The second one is too busy for my eyes

They're both abysmal IMO, but the first one would slightly less make me want to jump head first out of the window.

Lilac walls would go.

Why not just let her choose?

I'd go for lilac walks with the first one and pale blue walls for the second.

I think it's lovely that you are decorating a room for your dd and letting her likes be expressed in her room. I'd go for the first one and do the rest of the walls white.

I'd go for all the walls plain and accessorise with minions bedding, curtains, pictures etc. Much easier to change things in a year or so when she's into a new movie craze.

SaucyJack - ha ha I agree with you! But she loves Minions and we let her sister pick her own Peppa Pig wallpaper for her room. So only fair the little one can have what she likes too!

I like Minions, but don't like either of those... I would look at just putting some Minion posters up. Easily removed when she goes off them too!

NannyR - we tried to do this for her older sister as she wanted a Peppa Pig room. But I really found that it was impossible to find good quality curtains, bedding etc for kids, it all seemed to be really poorly made tat. And to be honest we don't mind redecorating every few years for them.

And we had a Toy Story wall done in the playroom and it is absolutely amazing, I love it so much. So we kind of always go for the murals now when we decorate!

The purple minion is too scary and the second one is too busy. Sorry OP - are there really no other choices?

That Toy Story one is fantastic!

I found another website with quite a lot of better ones about a month ago. But I can't for the life of me find the website now and can't find it in my search history. So if anyone can find any more I would def consider them. It can be Minions or one with the Despicable Me characters on.

Hearts - thanks, I love it too. This is the style I prefer, with a plain USB background and the characters sort of across the middle. So if anyone can help something like that I'd be so grateful.
