It's been mentioned over a few years of routine appointments that my diastolic blood pressure is high (think 90-98), but it was only a couple of weeks ago that my asthma nurse said that it needs looking into, so after a followup where it hadn't gone down at all I have a long nurse appointment on Tuesday for bloods and an ECG and whatever else they want to do with me.
I'm 28, sedentary and overweight (and working on it) but apart from my asthma (moderate, controlled) I don't have any other real health concerns - I probably have Ehlers Danlos syndrome (family history, sibling with the same symptoms as me but worse) but it's never been diagnosed and never caused any issued.
I'm really anxious about it and it hasn't even happened yet! The week between the tests and the followup is going to be hell waiting for the results. For reference my systolic blood pressure is absolutely normal and always has been. Can anyone give me any reassurance? I'm probably not actively dying, right?
