They are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle "lounge pants". He wants to wear them to ASDA. I said no. He says I'm bu. I'm not, am I?

I just don't get the concept of 'let'. You're not his owner.

NoCapes · 10/09/2017 10:53

Why would he want to do that?? Why?!

PenSylvester · 10/09/2017 10:53

Wow this was meant to be lighthearted. Hmm

I wouldn't allow my child to wear them to the supermarket.

Cambionome · 10/09/2017 10:55

Absolutely fine so long as he doesn't expect you to go with him. He can crack on and do all the shopping on his own.

Bluntness100 · 10/09/2017 10:55

Your partner? Wishes to wear teenage ninja pyjamas? How old is he?

ShapelyBingoWing · 10/09/2017 10:55

Just tell him to go alone if it would embarrass you. I wouldn't like it either but I wouldn't pick the battle of trying to get him to get changed.

LoyaltyAndLobster · 10/09/2017 10:56

YANBU

TeacupsAndDaffodils · 10/09/2017 10:56

So...which one of the Ninja Turtles are you PenSylvester?
I'd be Michael Angelo so I could eat pizza guilt free Envy

TeacupsAndDaffodils · 10/09/2017 10:57

That should be Grin not Envy

simpaticasimpatica · 10/09/2017 10:57

fosterdog gave the most typical mumsnet response!!! 😂😂😂

Tell him to go alone. I'd laugh him out the door.

stopbeingadramallama · 10/09/2017 10:59

Are you dating a child?

Don't understand the whole 'let' business.

80sMum · 10/09/2017 10:59

Did you actually mean to say DP, or was it supposed to be DS?

RJnomore1 · 10/09/2017 10:59

Photos or it didn't happen.

Put them on FB or twitter. Once his mates are done with him he will never even consider leaving the house in them again!

Brittbugs80 · 10/09/2017 10:59

How old is he?

Why is that relevant?

PutThatPomBearBack · 10/09/2017 10:59

Fucking hell some people need to lighten up.

Unicorn81 · 10/09/2017 10:59

Ah let him wear them, whats the harm?

PenSylvester · 10/09/2017 11:00

Crisis averted, we have compromised with him wearing trackies. It was that or standing very, very far away from him.

YANBU - people who wear pyjamas to the supermarket are really common.

ZeroFuchsGiven · 10/09/2017 11:01

I don't know any grown man who wears pj's at all never mind to the supermarket.

80sMum · 10/09/2017 11:05

Crikey! So, it's an adult male? But why does he wear kiddies' pyjamas?!! Hmm Oh well, each to his own!

PenSylvester · 10/09/2017 11:05

Obviously the "let" thing was a joke. If he was really that set on it I couldn't do anything to stop him...

yes there are rather a lot of them, aren't there?

timeisnotaline · 10/09/2017 11:07

He can wear whatever he wants I suppose. But you can judge judge Judge. And don't let him make any children come along with him and be humiliated . Hmm

thathappened · 10/09/2017 11:16

Grin whatever have YOU done to make him threaten such a thing?! (Lighted hearted response as I assumed you were joking Grin
