To ask how often you bath

Just wondering how often people bath? If I don't bath for one day I stink!! I don't always have time in the morning before the school run, (don't have a shower) but I will completely reek and it's so embarrassing. Can't understand how people go 2-3 days which is apparently common without bathing?!

Every other day for a shower, wash bits and bobs in between (unless had a particularly hot/manual day or exercised. Don't have baths as it takes forever to fill enough to be worth it!
I think the world has gone a bit shower/cleaning/antibacterial mental in the last few years.

(I meant unless had a particularly hot/manual day or exercised, then will have an additional shower. And if going out somewhere nice etc.) but generally timed every other day.

Yes I will go drs. I know for a fact I smell as my mum would always say and if I stayed round her house and washed my clothes she use to get them and sniff them and tell me to and say how much they stink (they do) and that's even with bathing and using deodrant. My daughter also suffers from bo now and she's a child so definitely genetic.

I'm only here for when the strip washers arrive.

😂

Jaysus, just get in the bloody shower, you lazy articles.

My mum has a few skin complaints for which she used to see a consultant dermatologist, and he told her that unless people do a dirty, sweaty, physical job (or go to the gym every day) hey really don't need to bathe/shower more than twice a week and that almost nobody smells if they don't. There are exceptions obviously, but for most people it's perfectly fine.

I think the key is that everyone bathes/showers at a rate that works for them - but once a day is about the most that most people do, and I should think most people aren't noticeably BO-y at that point - I know I'm not. So yes please do see the doctor, it might be a genetic family thing but it might also be something you can have help with.

Also grr to your mum for telling you off foot bodily functions you couldn't control (presuming you were actually having a wash!).

Personally I a mostly a once in a morning showerer, I have a bath for pleasure in the evenings sometimes. My hair gets terribly greasy (and no, no poo does not work, I just look and smell like I haven't been taking care of myself no matter how long I try for) so I end up washing it about 4 times a week, using dry shampoo only on non-meeting/having to look nice days.

Often I will strip wash on those days. Oh yes. A proper one with a flannel everything.

op, does your washer work properly? do you occassionally wash at a higher temp? do you wear mostly cotton fabrics?
just thinking maybe it's not you who smells, but your clothes.
