I have the implant so not rying but I take a pregnancy tests occasionally just to be safe as I know it's not 100 % effective. I don't know if it's just me but I kind of see a faint line/beginnings of a line? Talk me down please

Negative

Aeroflotgirl · 08/09/2017 23:16

Oh right, I thought it was 1 line.

HazzaB89 · 08/09/2017 23:23

I can absolutely see a line on the pink photo bucket test. Could be an evaporation line as pp have said though. I'd test again Sunday morning.

DisneyMillie · 08/09/2017 23:36

I'd have gone with negative on the first one but I can see a faint line on the pink one - frer needed!

SirVixofVixHall · 08/09/2017 23:40

I can't get to view the last couple of pictures, they aren't appearing on the site.

minisoksmakehardwork · 08/09/2017 23:49

Poundland do pink ones and tbh they're as good as any other, better than some in fact, I've tested with the. 5-1 day early and got a result which was readable. I would get yourself a bunch of those for the price of the branded ones and test until it either becomes clear your are pregnant or you get constant negatives.

I've got pregnant twice on oral contraceptives so know there is no certainty when it comes to contraception and pregnancy.

I hope you get the answer you want.

MyPatronusIsAUnicorn · 08/09/2017 23:58

I thought 100% negative but on the photobucket pictures, I thought I saw a faint line. I found Tesco tests very good but FR was better. Got a line at 4pm the day before AF was due with that.

wonderingsoul · 09/09/2017 04:09

I can deff see a line on the pink ones.

Try first thing in the morning.

How long have you been on the implant? Also habe you taken jon worts medicines as that has be known to make it ineffective

Namechange101110 · 09/09/2017 06:29

Hello OP, I'm hoping I can reassure you here.
Its very, very unlikely that you are pregnant while using an implant. Contraception does fail but this is very unusual with the implant, its way more common with the pills as there is quite a lot that can affect their efficacy.
With implants you only tend to see pregnancy if you were unknowingly pregnant when it was put in, it wasn't actually inserted at all or you've used liver enzyme inducing medications (which are not commonly used) while using the implant.
If you can feel your implant now or at the time of insertion and you've not taken any new medication (prescribed or over the counter) pregnancy is unlikely. If you've been on it a few months and you were pregnant at the start you'd have a much better positive than what you have on that test.
Lastly, although a change in bleeding pattern can be an indication of pregnancy the implant will also cause changes in your bleeding pattern.
If you are concerned you are pregnant, taking a test is exactly the right thing to do so it's a good idea to test again until you are sure you are not, just please don't be too worried about it.
