I have the implant so not rying but I take a pregnancy tests occasionally just to be safe as I know it's not 100 % effective. I don't know if it's just me but I kind of see a faint line/beginnings of a line? Talk me down please

@Purpledahlia88 I don't know what photobucket is?!

It's reassuring to see most people think it's negative. I'm going to try and find a pink dye test just to be sure

Just a website where you can upload an image.

Sunshinegirl82 · 08/09/2017 14:27

Does the line have colour? It may well be an evaporation line. The test looks negative to me but either way I don't think you'll feel you've got a definite answer from this test so I would test again tomorrow/Sunday. HCG doubles every 48 hours so if it is the start of a positive I'd imagine the result to be clear on Sunday.

NotMyMonkees · 08/09/2017 14:28

Blue Dye tests are a nightmare for false positives, definitely buy a cheap pink Dye and try again.

MrTrebus · 08/09/2017 14:30

Do people take pregnancy tests every now and then just in case their contraception failed? I would never think so to do this unless I missed a period. But then maybe you do don't have periods on the coil? I have no idea because I'm on the pill. Maybe condoms + coil would be a cheaper option than coil + pregnancy tests. But anyway definitely looks negative to me so you're all good.

daisydoop · 08/09/2017 14:32

@MrTrebus I've the implant for a few months now. I had spotting for a couple of days each month around the time my period would normally be but haven't recently so have been testing to be sure

I can't see a line at all, looks negative to me

TowerRose · 08/09/2017 14:34

If it was me I wouldn't worry, it definitely looks negative

gruffaloshmuffalo · 08/09/2017 14:34

Looks like a negative to me too

DO3271 · 08/09/2017 14:35

I have good eyesight. I see a negative, no cross. Better to test first thing in the morning

Did the link work?!

OP posts:
Katedotness1963 · 08/09/2017 14:37

If it's supposed to be a cross I can't see it.

ophiotaurus · 08/09/2017 14:38

I can't see a line. I had spotting too with the implant for the first few months, but now have had zero spotting. I now have no period symptoms at all. Had it in since last October.

Katedotness1963 · 08/09/2017 14:39

Link works. Still don't see it.

SirVixofVixHall · 08/09/2017 14:42

I can see a very faint, thin line, although I'm wondering if it is the pleat in the curtain showing through the slightly transparent window of the test? Also could be where a line would appear, if there was one iyswim. Agree test again with a different brand.

Purpledahlia88 · 08/09/2017 14:42

I see a line but the width is thinner than the other line, so I think its an evaporation line

SirVixofVixHall · 08/09/2017 14:44

Yes, like Purpledahlia the line I see is thinner than the other line.

SweetLuck · 08/09/2017 14:44

Nope, no line.

NoProblemForMe · 08/09/2017 14:48

Negative imo. I can't even see a faint line in that picture.

If you can see one then it might be whatever chemical is impregnated (pardon the pun) in the test window that would show up blue if the result is positive.

BlueberryButtons · 08/09/2017 14:50

It's negative, I had the same a few months ago - did two tests both came with this very faint, barely visible line like yours, could only see it against the window really. Not pregnant. If you are worried though, get ClearBlue and repeat the test tomorrow morning - those are more accurate.

DavetheCat2001 · 08/09/2017 14:55

Negative

Newtothis2017 · 08/09/2017 14:56

Negative

RebeccaWrongDaily · 08/09/2017 14:58

i can see a single line in both windows, if that means you are pregnant then 'eek'

I don't see a cross anywhere though- so if that means you are pregnant you aren't.
