I just tried to buy a bottle of soft drink, you know, water, sugar, flavouring, colour.. And it was nearly impossible to buy any of them without there being loads of aspartame, something k, saccharin, etc..!
In the end I chose 7-up..but even R Whites normal is the same, tango fizzy, vimto, irn Bru, coke... I had no choice at all!

I am ve-ry suspicious...

Anyone know?

I mentioned up thread - Waitrose do their own range of high juice with no sweeteners we buy blackcurrant /apple and elderflower , there are other flavours I think. We wait for the offers, and buy a few to squirrel away

And if you look for own brand High Juice , I am pretty sure they are sweetner free - Morrisons were last time I bought some

Tesco and m&s own brand hi-juice are not AS free

Waitrose lemonade with Spanish lemon juice is free from artificial sweeteners and tastes great. I also buy Waitrose high juice squashes and bottle green cordials safely knowing that they won't make me ill.

Sprite is vile since they added stevia.

I buy Belvoir cordials and mix with sparkling water if I want something different at home. It costs a fortune though and doesn't help when I'm out.

Hello, hope you don't mind me jumping in to this forum, but I've been working on creating a low calorie soft drink without artificial sweetener or sugar. We've got a couple of ideas and would love to get something into stores soon, as there really is a lack of choice in this domain! Love Fever Tree and the like, but still too much sugar for me personally.....and diet alternatives are full of rubbish. We'd most likely use something like stevia. The key is to keep it carb and calorie free, but still great tasting.
If you wouldn't mind taking 30 seconds to fill out the survey below, it would help refine the potential alternative. I'd keep you updated too if you were interested, and even send samples to those SUPER interested. Thanks guys smile

Stevia is just as bad as others ( please read the thread) it does not taste nice. Just reduce the sugar content like belvoir lite.
