to ask you to help with my office battle?

Bloke and I at work having A Dispute over a fiver.
He believes that the fiver is mine, I believe that it is his.
Cue the Fiver War of 2017.

So far he has hidden the fiver between the keys of my keyboard, in my office trainers (kept under my desk) and tucked in the grid cover of my desk fan.

I have stuck it under his mouse (covering the sensor) and taped it HEAVILY with washi tape (brightly coloured masking tape) to his desk.

Fiver is currently on my desk.

I need HELP, please lovely Mumsnetters - I am very competitive in need of a win this week

I'd love to know where you work that you can get away with this sort of thing!

We're so busy at the moment (team should be 12, this week we're down to 5 and I'm training a newbug, so not able to do as much), that finding time to have a piss is a bit of a problem.

He put all of the Game of Thrones episodes on a USB stick for my Mum as he knew she was unwell and didn't have access to them I came on to say marry him after this^

.....but the fiver in the drawer has ruined the story thread.

Having said that, does anyone remember the thread about the Nanny in a haunted log cabin in Colarado with the footprints and the Bloodman? 'Cause that was me. And the scary dolls in the street in Switzerland thread? Creepy stuff happens to me. A LOT.

So you start a lot of threads about weird shit happening. Seems legit.

I was wondering if it could be your Mum - did she have any direct communication with him when sorted the GoT USB for her? But even so, would he not think "that's a bit creepy to put it in her underwear drawer".

namechange987 Im positive it's just a weird coincidence (though no one can blame me for the thought crossing my mind). No direct communication with my Mum.

Also, the fiver in underear drawer was looking in good nick for something that had been previously rolled up and stuffed in a straw.
Perhaps the tooth fairy got drunk or something Grin

Nope. Got into work just before 9.30 and the only weird thing at my desk was the fact my mouse was completely taped down.

Fiver is still MIA.

Does your mum know about the ongoing fiver saga? Maybe she chucked a fiver in your drawer to fuck with you and work fiver will emerge in the next few days...also why is your whatsapp background a picture of the back of someones head?

Oh lassie lassie. You have gone too far but it is a harmless little thread and no threat to anyone. You should have just kept it to the office and not mentioned the other stuff.
