I'm really feeling quite put out. This is becoming such a regular occurrence.
No one seems happy to help whilst I'm retail shopping in my area. Well, at least hardly anyone.
I was in a big, well known shop today that may even be considered quite 'proper' in some people's minds. I really like it too.. Well, the clothes anyway.
I couldn't find my size so politely asked a member of staff if they had any back store since there aren't any out.
"Na, what we have out is what's available".
Oh, I said. No worries.
This early evening I'm in my Nan's area, and popped into the same shop. Again, my size wasn't available so I enquired the same thing again.
The lady who helped couldn't do enough to help. She said she'd have a look but if not, she could order it in for me to be here for tomorrow. She found me one back store
I went into a few stores after that one, all completely unrelated and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The same can never be said for my local shopping centre stores, they're all rude and seem to be quite angst to have to be there in the first place.
AIBU to say I want better customer service in my area? Would I also be unreasonable to say some areas have worse staff than others, and that includes all sorts of shops?
