I applied for college great I thought got accepted. But currently I am on benefits and I am able to still be on the money I recieve now only problem is after adding childcare costs for when Iam at college and travel to and from college and after all my bills are paid I am left with about 100 for the entire month so basically to buy food, any clothes we need haircuts and entertainment ie days out and savings.
College sent me away with all sorts of form oh apply for this do that. They have nno advisors for me to talk to. I am so confused about student finance bursaries advanced learner loans and how much I would recieve. IF i apply for any of these I will obviously lose out on all benefits I recieve at minunte such as jsa ctc housing benefit. And I dont know which loans to apply for or whether the loan would cover me for the entire year to pay for all bills chilcare food housing and everything we need as well as the course please help. Would i be crazt to go through college on benefits and be left with 100 for food and clothes ect?

You need to look further into this but I would say it's very unrealistic for you to survive long term on £100 a month.

Is it realistic for you to be able to work and/or a relative to help you out with childcare?

They should have advisers oat the college - there maybe help with childcare etc

You need more help than you'll get here

How many hours is your course for, and which benefit are you claiming?
