To wonder why people go on Four in a Bed

If you haven't seen it, it's basically this:

Several b&b owners stay in each others' b&bs, rate each one and pay what they think the night's stay and breakfast is worth.

Every contestant, without fail, becomes extremely upset and offended when their establishment is criticised. There are tears every single time.

It's completely understandable why they get so upset and it's actually quite painful to watch.

Why do they put themselves through it when the winner doesn't even get a great prize? All they win is a crappy plaque!

Donkey sanctuary woman was awful. Her behaviour in Edinburgh was cringe-making...
The old couple who had the weird art (they were on Hotel Inspector too) who slagged off the Welsh guy saying he was too young and would get bored...
Mrs T, the rude German lady who took the guests round her pet cat cemetery...
The Mr Blobby fan who had the filthy place...

Every week the first couple crawl around with a microscope finding every little thing, then get highly offended when everyone else does the same.

People insisting they get food not on the menu.

I wish the show would get rid of the "entertainment" bit and show the dirt/dust/dead flies/filth the other guests find. Everyone always says its lies and their business is perfect. It would be nice to see their faces fall...

A recent Scottish one where one guy said he was a local celebrity and walking through the airport everyone shouted to him . I wonder if he is a local celebrity because he was also on CDWM!! Must enter everything.

Molly he's on today's one! I've had to turn it off as he annoys me no end!

They were awful, with their chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, and Mike saying he was the only one with an education, so he couldn't possibly talk to the other contestants as they were so far below him

Karen also referred to another couple as "servile"

If you go on TripAdvisor and read the many one star reviews, their response is entertaining to say the least!

Did any of you see Bob the Celebrity on CDWM. He was even more cringy! Waiting to see what he will be on next!

I either want to be her or marry her.

That program fucks me off because there is always one unreasonable twat who marks everyone else down.

One made me vow to boycott and ensure I never stayed in that b&b if I was ever in the area!

Pisses me off when the B&B owner is charging them £60 per night for a perfectly respectable room, and the others complain that the breakfast ingredients aren't "locally sourced"!

I enjoy FIAB and CDWM (except the couples version) and stayed at one winner's a few months ago where they were charging less than the displayed prices on the show as they were quite new and wanted to build up clients and reviews.

They have actually improved their offering as there is an added extra they provide which is great fun.

Although, I booked through a website and paid much less than I was supposed to so they lost out. They weren't exactly chuffed.

The donkey Sanctuary woman episode was shown again this week and with minimal sleuthing I have discovered that she is the daughter of the founder of Trailfinders Michael Gooley CBE , who is a multi millionaire ( or billionaire) . He actually owns the farm . . The man on the show with her is her third husband but it does explain why he puts up with her . It's worth reading about her on the Welsh nationalist blog Jac'of the north ( I think) and looking at the reviews on the place . Very entertaining reading .

Maybe because they want to indulge their hobbies of hunting for pubes and criticising the drain traps of other people's showers
