I sympathise with you in part op and some of the comments have been a bit unecessarily harsh imo. I assume you only posted for a bit of fun and didn't really expect anyone to be able to tell what sex your baby is.

But, re your cravings and symptoms helping you to predict the sex of your baby, Confused. afaik there is a teeny chance that you will be more likely to have morning sickness with a girl, but that doesn't mean that everyone who has morning sickness will have a girl.

Kate Middleton was hospitalised with HG when she was pregnant with George and again (I think) with Charlotte.

The number of friends I've known who just knew they were having a girl / boy because they feel "exactly the same" / "so different" to last pregnancy. I'd say they're right around 50% of the time.

decaff thank you.
I was more getting at the fact that this pregnancy is so similar because of symptoms; not that these symptoms mean girl. Just that because it feels the same as last time I feel the outcome will be the same.
I was convinced DD was a boy so I really can't call it

I know myself well enough to know I was pregnant despite not TTC and period not being due for another four days. Bought a test, peed on it, and bingo, I was right.

I wasn't buying little dresses or "its a boy" balloons based on my inklings but I felt like I was right and it turned out I was. For what it's worth, I thought DS1 was a girl and DD1 was a boy so no, I'm not always right, but like I said it my earlier post - I needed a bit of fun to carry me through and speculating about the sex helped.
