I'm not well and have gone back to bed at DH s insistence. But I haven't been able to get any sleep because he's making no effort to keep quiet. Noise really carries in our house, so it's not entirely his fault - but SIL has popped over for a visit, so the kids are all excited, DS1 is shouting at the top of his lungs, one of DS2s noisy toys keeps going off, and at no point have I heard DH say anything about keeping the noise down. I don't want complete silence, just a little bit quieter - like normal speaking voices and toys that don't play annoying tunes over and over.
When he's ill I make a real effort to keep everyone quiet so he can rest. AIBU to expect the same?
