Cuts to our children's schools and education.
Cuts to disabled
Cuts to welfare
Cuts to NHS
Cuts to welfare
Fucking Brexit

Apparently there is no magic money tree but it is ok to spend billions on Trident ( while we criticise others for developing nuclear weapons. )

I expect you will all be here to tell me there is no magic money tree!

Yanbu. The two types of Tory voters have already made an appearance on this thread I see.

x2boys · 17/08/2017 09:12

And what type are they Downstairs?

RhinoGirl · 17/08/2017 09:13

Two types of Tory voters? Which two types would that be?

malificent7 · 17/08/2017 09:15

Why is the only alternative to the Tories Corbyn or Labour.
Tbh id rather have a goverment who invested more in public services and economic growth than Brexshit and Trident.

I thought NHS spending had risen under the Tories?

x2boys · 17/08/2017 09:21

It doesn't matter how much money is spent on the NHS it's failing because the people that manage it are incompetent untill that is fixed no amount of money will help millions of pounds are wasted all the time in the Nhs.

Intothenestofvipers · 17/08/2017 09:21

Because Corbyn, Abbott, Watson and McDonnell would do so much better with our tax money and running the country OP.

I, for one, pray that they never get the chance to prove me right.

Intothenestofvipers · 17/08/2017 09:23

What the fuck are you on about?

SeaWitchly · 17/08/2017 09:51

Well yes, actually. Investing in public services and workers is a pretty good use of tax dollars.
When they're not too busy 'sucking on terrorists cocks' obviously Hmm

x2boys · 17/08/2017 09:54

I worked for the Nhs for a long time the Labour party made cuts long before the coalition got in I was redeployed twice in 2005 due to cuts.

JanetLeCarre · 17/08/2017 09:56

Jeremy won't even be using the showers which have been installed for cyclists.

Do people who vote left not read?

SeaWitchly · 17/08/2017 09:59

Yes, but with Labour at least you also got investment in to the system and staff received incremental pay rises rather than pay cuts therefore meaning their salary isn't keeping pace with the rise in the cost of living.

I also worked within the NHS for a long time x2boys, not anymore though.

x2boys · 17/08/2017 10:03

Have the increments stopped then I left a couple of yrs ago as far as I was aware you still got increments untill you reached the top of your pay band?

Tanith · 17/08/2017 10:25

"Jeremy won't even be using the showers which have been installed for cyclists.

Do people who vote left not read?"

Oh yes, they read (so do other political persuasions, by the way).

They read JH's media secretary working frantically to kill the story on FB, although funnily enough she didn't say who she was until she was outed). I wonder if she's on MN?

They read the plumbers posting to the same page, asking how the hell showers for cyclists cost £44,000 pounds and claiming they could do it far cheaper.

They read the ridicule from the LibDems, who actually posted the original story and have continued to snigger happily at his discomfiture.

Intothenestofvipers · 17/08/2017 10:29

I'm damn sure the increments have not stopped 2xboys. Just like they haven't stopped in other civil service and public sector roles (and I do work in the public sector). My DH on the other hand has not had a pay rise in the private sector for 5 years.

x2boys · 17/08/2017 10:31

Oh get a grip LuLu and grow up.whilst your at it.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 17/08/2017 10:41

We have for too long wanted so much and to pay in tax so little

This has been supported by both Labour and the Tories

If you want an efficient healthcare system and remember that props up social care you have pay for it put forward basic income tax rise of say 5% and how many voters do you loose

We simply need to pay more all of us and many feel they simply can't

Intothenestofvipers · 17/08/2017 10:42

LuLuuuuuuu

You are truly vile and I have reported your post to save Uretha the bother of you

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/08/2017 10:43

They keep getting voted back in though, don't they.

Its like Turkeys voting for Christmas

SinisterBumFacedCat · 17/08/2017 10:53

f you want an efficient healthcare system and remember that props up social care you have pay for it put forward basic income tax rise of say 5% and how many voters do you loose

^^ this totally. The problem is by the time people understand how important funded social care is they are no longer physically or mentally capable of voting.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 17/08/2017 10:54

Turkeys voting for Christmas is so fucking patronising there are many reasons why people vote the way they do and many voters are floating voters

And while labour move to the left and have a leader that supports Brexit what is the alternative for many the Libdems who rushed into a Tory coalition

Time for a new central party

chocolatespiders · 17/08/2017 10:56

UNBU
Horror show

Cocklodger · 17/08/2017 11:01

Why does it always turn into this?
"I dislike something the Tories are doing"
"YEAH BUT CORBYN/BLAIR!"

Confused
So fucking what if labour would be worse in some/all/none respects (that obviously depends on your opinion).
People are dying because of the cuts. It needs to change.
