What with the amount of total selfish entitled men out there clearly brought up to feel superior and watching this program "no more boys or girls"
We literally don't stand a chance of proper equality.
The difference is just so ingrained, even in this day and age.
Girl jobs/boy jobs, all these stereo types

It makes me really very sad. For both boys and girls

It's called no more boys and girls! On BBC 2, 9-10 tonight.
Where they try and deconstruct the concept of societal influence on a bunch of 7 year olds in a school.
It just made me realise how engrained it all is...

And I was generally thinking about the amount of people that come on here and tell us about the selfish entitled acts their partners inflict on them.
And I just thought, if it's so engrained from childhood that boys feel that level of entitlement then we are all a bit fucked.

Some of us have husbands, brothers, sons and male friends who are not 'entitled' in any of their interractions with the world.
All is not lost and there is far more of a level playing field now than at any time in my life.........not perfect by any means and lots to be challenged, but we are moving forward.

Yes I know we are moving forward. Just had a couple of encounters in a work environment recently and reading some of these threads and that program has just left me a little depressed about it all!

I also know lots of great men who are not entitled. I need to just spend more time with them!!
