The only thing is finding a convenient ray stroking establishment. The one where I had my brief encounter was in Monterey in California.

I quite fancy going to the Maldives and diving with them and whale sharks. Only slight problem is it costs nine hundred zillion pounds.

No we just struck lucky in Monterey. We stayed there when we were driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles and lo and behold there was a huge acquarium that had a sort of pond bit full of manta rays.

Maybe they decided they must have manta ray in Monterey. It seems logical.
