So angry still about something OH said a while back

We had just moved into our house and we're trying to decide on the decor. He suggested taking off the wooden bedroom doors and putting glazed doors up instead with curtains on them!!?? In what world would that be attractive/good decor? It's fucking hideous! Like something from the 40s. This was 5 years ago and it still makes me angry when I think about it.

Hehe sparkly I shall pass on your approval. But I'm not mentioning pirates lol. He has enough mad ideas.

mobility scooter dalek is genius too, my DB and I have actually sat and worked out how we'd make one. A full sized alien would give me nightmares though.

In a previous house (like in most houses) there was only one logical way to arrange the sitting room furniture. We have two big sofas and they needed to be at right angles. Couldn't have them facing each other without one of them having its back to a giant floor length window with a lovely view.

'D'H was adamant that they could be at 45 degrees. So a giant V shape of sofas in the middle of a rectangular room rendering loads of floor space unusable and still mostly blocking the view.

This thread has brought it all back!
