It's been a tough week at MNHQ and the gin cupboard is almost bare. Am I wrong in thinking long term MNers will feel better for seeing this and remembering what a helpful lot we can be.

I bloody loved the supersoaker thread. I can remember exactly where I was (sitting on the stairs while DS was having a bath) while furiously posting on it.

I once started a mildly funny thread about Morph Pornos in homage to Tony Hart when he died. Think Morphfucking, Morphfelching etc. Well it made me and a few others laugh at the time.

My favourite thread is about urban legends in adult fiction from about 5 years ago. Don't read it alone at night though!

People nc'd after penis beaker etc. because it brought floods of new people in and they felt like they could be outed in RL as some of the previous posts made them identifiable.

I'm not an oldie. I feel I'm one of the permanently bewildered.

I seem to have a knack for missing the big events. I was away for NYE carnage and Jeff for instance.

I namechanged after the hacking stuff. I couldn't re register and went off MN for months. It drew me back though.

Some places are great on here, like the staff room. I might just stay on there.
