Totally irrational dislike for actors/actresses??

What is it about certain actors/actresses that just make you dislike them for no reason at all?
I was just looking at the web and Melissa George (Home and Away, and others) and i just really don't like her. I have no idea why though? I don't dislike other female actresses?

Gerard Butler. Makes me shiver. Not in the right way.

In a nutshell: I worked as a night manager at a London hotel during my uni days. He stayed once. He made a fuss. I got pissed off and nearly lost my cool. He complained. Luckily for me, he was such a twat that I ended up not getting fired.

Emma Watson! So boring! Also the likes of channing tatum and similar, the types that woman obsess over, I just don't see it!

I never liked Jim Carey and his slapstick nonsense but I actively dislike him since all those unsavoury details concerning his private life emerged after his ex's death.

I adore Tom and Gi Fletcher!!

But would happily leave Kiera Knightly, Ewan McGregor and the woman off the oral b dentist advert (I didn't know Oral B did a toothpaste) on a desert island somewhere unreachable by boat, plane etc.

In my family, we have a convention. If one of us comments that we dislike an actor/singer, one of us follows up with the response "well, they speak very well of you".

Olly Murs and James Corden. That oh so fake, "Ooh what a cheeky chap I am" shit just grates on me.

Adam Sandler - has a whiney edge to his voice that I can't stand

Jim Carey - just annoying

Anne Hathaway - as above.

I realise they're all probably lovely in RL and I'm probably not their cup of tea either

Maybe its because they are paid to be fake and complete liars. You see them in films and in shows and you associate their characters traits as theirs. Or because of the press only publishing interviews with a bias on thrm to portray tbem a specific way intentionally.
Aaaand ofc some are just genuinely bad at acting and its infuriating how good a film could have been if they had bloody well cast someone else!
Or they actually are complete assholes in real life to real people who post about it on social media, like treating fans like shit and shouting abuse or insults at tbem

Oh, and Billy Connolly is another one I've always hated.

but. I don't get brilliant vibes from Abigail Breslin.
I get the impression that she thinks she's doing you a favor by being on TV.

I can't believe people hate the Fletchers. They're so genuinely nice and very kind people. Yes, I know them.

Harry Styles, but only because when I saw Dunkirk, more than half the audience in my cinema squealed as one, "It's Harry Styles!" when he appeared, and some actually SCREAMED out loud for him.

I don't like David Thewlis because he had my boyfriend's name in a film and shagged (I think - I don't know, I never saw the film!) someone with his ex-girlfriend's name. Never watched anything he was in. Had to get over it (a bit) when my kids wanted to watch the Harry Potter films!

Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler for that awful style of comedy they do

Nicholas Cage and David Spade for me. Also David Schwimmer and Julia Louis-Dreyfus - but I think those are because I can't stand the characters they play.

Not an actor but Jay Leno gets on my nerves too.

I've never liked Jolie Richardson (loved Natasha)
Completely illogical but I just can't warm to her and think her acting is a bit rubbish
