Jeez this person very smooth and tanned and altogether in very good shape - standing all body out - spraying something on her face. Then goes onto do a whole body creaming. Bending in this direction and that (me don't know where to put my face) leg up on the bench (no knickers on) then finally guys yep you got it rubbing cream onto her bum cheeks and then between her bum cheeks!!

Did I need to see that?!

I did encounter this in Germany. Me too. I also thought it was a continental thing. But it happened when I came back to the uk as well after a bikram yoga class. The women seemed much more at ease in their bodies than I remember from years earlier and I put it down to the type of people you may find in these classes.

Well why were you looking? For pity's sake, I know half of MN seems to think we should only be naked in a dark room when completely alone but it is a changing room. It's ok to be naked in there and moisturise while you're at it. Did she invite you to gather round and watch? No. Focus on what you're doing rather than monitoring what everyone else is up to.

You Brits are very weird about bodies.

I believe this is getting worse as well.
Far more people put their pants on underneath a towel than 20 yrs ago. We are getting more prudish as a nation. SAD!

At my old gym someone found it acceptable to leave a used tampon in the shower.

I was in a unisex changing rooms once at the pool, and some hairy guy bent right over in front of me butt naked to show off his chocolate starfish. I can still picture it now 10 years later!

My ex had really terrible psoriasis which unfortunately did extend to his buttcrack.

My first thought on reading this thread was the she might have a skin condition which requires her to moisturise liberally after every shower.

Maybe she was fake tanning. That would explain the manky underwear. I really don't understand the moisturising your butt crack though- that would get so rank. I definitely do my butt-cheeks.

It can be a bit uncomfortable if you have an exhibitionist in the changing room, but really, she's not doing anything wrong. People are allowed to be naked in changing rooms and they are allowed to apply body/boy cream. And I always put my leg up on the side of the bath/a bench when moisturising my legs- doesn't everyone?

I do a fair bit of naked wandering in the gym but not in a stretching out way. I just find the hairdryer can make me all sweaty if I'm still hot from running after the shower, so I put on some pants but no bra etc and sit on my towel while drying my hair

I don't get the need to be covered up though. I don't take up other people's space or bend so anyone sees my bum hole. Who cares if I have my body out.

roarface I think wandering round in just your pants in the gym changing room is absolutely fine - I wouldn't bat an eyelid at that. There's a million miles between that and moisturising your arse crack!

Today I spoke to a friend who frequents this gym too.

She also mentioned this person. It could be a regular offender from the sounds of it..
