apart from now, of course

GameGirly · 29/03/2007 16:36

You're 'avin'a laff. You 'avin' a laff?

Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:36

There are rather a lot of threads under that title - many of which could have gone under some other heading tbh

CadburyCremeSquonk · 29/03/2007 16:38

I think it is supposed to be a serious subject title, however, it has been used so much for fun things, that I love it

RanToTheHills · 29/03/2007 16:38

hah! I love it! I got called quote a "miserable bugger" on here last night so obviously this suits me down to the ground!

Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:38

tedious - and unimaginative

OP posts:
hana · 29/03/2007 16:39

I just don't get why people have to ask others the things that they do, or canvass opinions on such mundane things. some mundane things, not all

TeeCee · 29/03/2007 16:40

I don't mind some of the time but i find it irritating when people post in aibu when they clearly aren't and ask things like 'my dh shags the dog in front of kids and it upsets me - aibu?'.

It's like it gives people an excuse to post something ridiculous just cos there;'s a topic on whether you are being unreaonable or not!

Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:40

another year and we will have called

Am I bovvered/

and computer says Nah

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 29/03/2007 16:41

Shit, there's something wrong with dog-shagging as a spectator sport for kids now?!

DrMarthaMcMoo · 29/03/2007 16:41

It seems to have taken the place of "Other Subjects". I don't like it either.

RanToTheHills · 29/03/2007 16:41

but isn't that just life, virtual or in RL? We can't always be debating politics, bfing or whatever, sometimes we have to gossip/ask about seeemingly pointless issues (which probably don't seem to be so to the poster anyway)

brimfull · 29/03/2007 16:41

same here I hate them and they are used toomuch imo.

Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:41

or stupid things that are of course unreasonable - so bloody say they are rather than asking the question

OP posts:
Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:42

it is not to do with serious debate - it is just stupid

may I be pedantic?

thank you.

It's 'topic' title, not thread title

Beetrootccio · 29/03/2007 16:47

yes exactly , thank you so much for pointing that out NB

OP posts:
Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 29/03/2007 16:47

Nadine - you are being unreasonable. And pedantic

littleEasterlapin · 29/03/2007 16:48

How about "Am I being a boring prig?"

(not meaning you, Beety! just some of those threads... - although some are very funny! )

TeeCee · 29/03/2007 17:10

I agree it should be renamed
and split up thus:

  • I'm being pathetic and need to whine
  • I'm so not being unreasonale, listen to this totally unresonable thing that happened to me please
  • Isn't my DH a bastard - listen to this....
  • I'd like a fucking good moan please
