I usually let my son's grandad know what happened after every hospital appointment by taking him down to see him. Recently he unexpectedly had several in quick succession that require further testing and follow ups. My son is his only grandchild and he doesn't take bad news, even if it's not that bad, well. There is alot going on in the grandads life right now so I feel like I should wait till I have some more concrete to share. But then im not sure if that's fair on him. AIBU?
