Looking for some hope really.

How long did your court battles go on for?

I'm 7 years, 5 cases, now entering mediation for the 6th application to court.

Anyone know any organisation/MP anyone out there that is in the slightest bit interested in stopping abusive partners using the system to continue their abuse?

Im not much help, but MPs can only help their own constituents. Sorry.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your situation lifeunderalens. My ex also likes the control of having PR and uses it as a club. But I'm afraid other than a sympathetic, "you're not alone" I can't really advise as to when he'll get bored. But I do know that there have been precedent cases set where a judge has thrown out obviously spurious cases (where the non resident parent was deliberately attempting to attack / control the resident parents life through the family courts system) perhaps a solicitor versed in the laws around "coercive controlling abuse" which is now illegal and has legally enforceable powers etc might be able to advise - what about women's aid - they might be able to offer a signpost or help?
Good luck OP
