Someone who won't accept they have shortcomings, or listen to any form of criticism.

I know someone very arrogant. Always talking about themselves and how marvellous they are at everything. Also they like to think they know everything and particularly dislike being told something they didn't.

Some people who I just see as extremely confident as seen by others as arrogant. So sometimes it's about perception.

Most people in my industry have something to say and want others ( complete strangers) to listen. That's the nature of it. Is that arrogance? Possibly.

Always been accused of being arrogant (or having an 'unfortunate manner' by one manager) by people who don't know me and then when they get to know me they like me and no longer perceive me that way. I am shy, I do have a rp voice and I do get passionate about things being done correctly so maybe these things contribute. I do not do it on purpose and don't know what 'it' is. Old gimmer now, retired and not likely to change now but it has caused me some tears over the years when people have criticised me.
