Who pushed that woman over into the path of a bus.

What a complete and utter wanker - who the hell does that?

Thank goodness she was OK (physically at least- she'll probably be rather nervous about walking along the pavement now Sad

Ah! I thought you objected to my Rottweiler fantasies.

Thanks Oneflew. Now NC with him.

Elendon · 09/08/2017 09:17

Why do joggers feel the need to run down busy streets? Is it some sort of look at me mentality?

Mustang27 · 09/08/2017 09:19

Where else would the run Elendon?

Hygge · 09/08/2017 09:20

Daily - "The video is viral and is on GMB this morning. I suspect they'll find him and he will have some sob story."

And he's had plenty of those made up for him already by people on the internet excusing what he did, blaming her, or trying to find 'reasons' for it.

He just has to take his pick now.

Elendon · 09/08/2017 09:22

When the street is empty at night, less traffic? A park?

Use of common sense?

Fossilshavenomemory · 09/08/2017 09:25

What's that thing about joggers v runners? Is jogging uncool but running not?

Mustang27 · 09/08/2017 09:26

Some people don't have that luxury depending on working hours and family life so run when they can. Fair enough with the park but if they are running long distance that might not always be an option. Sorry it wasn't an inflammatory question I just wondered where else you thought they should run.

Most runners pick to run at busy times as they feel safer ime.

NellieBuff · 09/08/2017 09:42

mathanxiety I agree with everyone this is an excellent post and I agree with everything you have said.

I cannot believe that anyone is defending that man's actions - he is a thug pure and simple.

I just thank God that poor woman was not seriously physically hurt although I hate to think of the psychological damaged caused.

LittleLucyLuce · 09/08/2017 10:08

It's fucking depressing and shocking to watch and just proves that we live in a man's world.

Poor woman, I hope she is ok.

The cunt who pushed her will hopefully be caught and given a jail sentence.

OuaisMaisBon · 09/08/2017 10:48

Just in case anyone is in any doubt that the police believes it was an unprovoked attack, here's a link to their statement about it released yesterday: Metropolitan Police Appeal to trace jogger after woman pushed into road Putney I'm amazed he's not been found yet.
As an aside, I never thought I'd hark back to my mother's emphasis on "good manners" - I thought she was old-fashioned when she insisted that men should hold doors open for women, that they should let women go first, and children should give up seats on public transport for adults, but actually, if you turn "good manners" into "respect for others", I think you get to a reason why this kind of thing is happening nowadays, as there seems to be much less respect for other people and more selfishness than there used to be. But what do I know, I'm just a Grumpy Old Woman.

RhiWrites · 09/08/2017 11:05

Folks, I'm sure mathanxiety is brilliant but she was quoting RolfNotRudolf on an earlier page! Grin

LemonRedwood · 09/08/2017 11:08

She also wrote her own post RhiWrites

RolfNotRudolf · 09/08/2017 11:08

Math did quote my post but in another post at 2:52 she said what I was trying to say but far better articulated Grin

CaptainBrickbeard · 09/08/2017 11:11

The way he just keeps on running is so chilling. And she falls with such force, it's terrifying.

Happytobefree17 · 09/08/2017 11:16

It's surprising he hasn't been caught yet with all the massive publicity going on. People who know him must surely have seen this by now. I wonder why they are protecting him.

RolfNotRudolf · 09/08/2017 11:19

If people have put names forward to the police then the police will be investigating and interviewing - nobody will be named until they charge him.

alleypalley · 09/08/2017 11:53

London beahviour' - are London people not human beings then ? Here in the sticks people stop when they think they might have accidentally hurt someone it is natural and instinctive - can't believe Londoners are a different species, all the Londoners I know wouldn't dream of behaving like this git.

Ditto. I'm a Londoner and a runner and I've so far managed to refrain from shoving anyone into the road. And as someone else said upthread when I have accidentally bumped into someone I have stopped and made sure they were ok. Nobody else to blame here other than the man in question.

squoosh · 09/08/2017 11:55

I'd be very surprised if they haven't got a name at this point.

Jaxhog · 09/08/2017 12:38

Maybe he thought she shouldn't be walking in 'his' jogging space. The previous guy was on the raised pavement bit. He does appear to swerve towards her before bumping her over.

If it wasn't deliberate, how come he didn't stop?

squoosh · 09/08/2017 12:39

The bit that looks raised was apparently just a shadow.

SnickersWasAHorse · 09/08/2017 12:44

There is no raised bit.
And looking at the pavement it is plenty big enough.

Gobsmacked at the jogger on the news..
scaryclown · 09/08/2017 12:46

Dear god, all these opinions, and people can't even tell from the same video if several metres of pavement is flat.. Can you see why different information and analysis is important?

MarshaBrady · 09/08/2017 12:47

There's loads of room, loads

And it's nothing to do with London behaviour, having run home from work with many others doing the same thing, it is a shocking video

He nearly killed her

SnickersWasAHorse · 09/08/2017 12:52

I'm amazed that there was a post earlier questioning why there was a pavement next to a road.
