Who pushed that woman over into the path of a bus.

What a complete and utter wanker - who the hell does that?

Thank goodness she was OK (physically at least- she'll probably be rather nervous about walking along the pavement now Sad

Agreed pumpkin you just need to follow the shadow line on the pavement to see where he veers. Scary that he is out there, has he done it before and will he again? Very possibly.

MarshaBrady · 08/08/2017 20:38

This is such a violent shove and I can't believe how close she is to going under the bus

They had better catch him

She must have been so scared poor thing

SabineUndine · 08/08/2017 20:41

I've watched it several times and there isn't really much space for her to get out of his way, and he has loads of room on the other side. I wonder if they were yelling at each other tbh, because obvs he had more room to get out of his way than she had to move to her left.

ClamBakeSnake · 08/08/2017 20:42

She has nowhere to go except to stand up on the raised part where the man before her had walked. The runner had loads of space.

SandyDenny · 08/08/2017 20:43

How can he not have been identified, I know it's London but that picture is so clear that someone must know him

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 20:43

I reckon he veered towards her to tell her to "get out of my fucking way woman" as he probably does to lots of women, and expected her to move but she didn't move far enough for his liking so he taught her a lesson Angry

SandyDenny · 08/08/2017 20:45

Clambake - I thought it was a raised bit the first couple of times I watched it but on the police link I can see there's actually a shadow from the bridge and the lighter bit is where the sun is shining

MarryMeSuePerkins · 08/08/2017 20:45

Some cunt (a man) did a similar thing to me once. I was waiting in line to board the Stansted airport coach outside Liverpool st station. The line took up maybe half the width of the pavement.

He ran right through it because obviously his man-running was THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. As he came through he shoved me out of the way. Really hard. I shouted 'cunt' after him but I think he had headphones in.

It really was one if those 'if I had a gun' moments. I honestly think I could've killed him, I was so furious.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 20:48

There was no raised part. It is a totally flat pavement but yes, he had bucketloads of space. There was no reason at all for him to even be within touching distance of her. He completely invaded her space and then threw her out of it.

ClamBakeSnake · 08/08/2017 20:49

Ah I see.

chirpyburbycheapsheep · 08/08/2017 20:50

Agree you can see by the shadow that he moves towards her. And I have sometimes found myself on a collision course with people. The last thing I have done is shove them violently. And if I did then I would stop immediately and apologise, help them.

And for people thinking there must surely be a reasonable explanation as to why he did what he did, sadly there are some nasty people out there. I remember being on a London bus alone, at the back. I press the bell to get off at the next stop, get up to go towards the doors. Bus keeps going, doesn't slow, goes past the stop. I look up at the mirror where you can see the bus driver. He looks straight at me and slams the breaks on and watches me being thrown forward. Zero 'provocation' (whatever that means).

SabineUndine · 08/08/2017 20:50

MeanAger the raised part as in the wide parapet thing to her left.

SabineUndine · 08/08/2017 20:54

Oh, I see what you mean, sorry. The shadow makes it look as though there's a little wall thing.

This makes the guy's action worse, he must have known he was pushing her RIGHT into the stream of traffic with nothing to stop her.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 20:54

There is nothing raised to her left. It's a flat pavement and then it drops to the road.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 20:56

Xpost!

PelorusJack · 08/08/2017 20:58

HERE is the Metropolitan Police News item on this.

It says she was 'knocked' to the ground.

Sergeant Mat Knowles, the investigating officer from Putney Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road

Knocked is a little more ambiguous than shoved. I'd imagine the woman know exactly what happened and whether it was a deliberate shove or a barge or a collision.

SexandDrugsandaNiceCuppa · 08/08/2017 20:59

He definitely pushed her, the psychopathic cunt. This has terrified me - I work nearby and I cross this bridge on foot, in both directions, between 4-8 times a week. I used to hop on the bus, but I'm trying to get my fitness up, so I've taken to walking everywhere. I'm considering using the bus again after seeing this. For those who don't know this bridge, the pavements are massive. There is bags of space - you get people walking 6-7 abreast comfortably. There is absolutely no way that he 'didn't have room'. Bastard.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 21:03

Oh there is no doubt about it. He had acres of space. There was no-one coming towards him after her so it's not like he was continuing his line to avoid someone else. There was no-one there other than her. He went straight for her.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 08/08/2017 21:08

I know the bridge (unfortunately not the jogging cunt), definitely nothing raised, just the sun shining over the bridge.

Seeingadistance · 08/08/2017 21:09

The bus driver has the most amazing reflexes to have been able to swerve so quickly. And if she or he hadn't been such a remarkable driver then that poor woman would surely have died.

Fossilshavenomemory · 08/08/2017 21:14

The creepy jogger is a violent male.

I agree with pp that he either gets a kick out of hurting women or maybe that he is a hit man.

ClamBakeSnake · 08/08/2017 21:15

Yep the driver was amazing. I bet they needed a brandy at the end of their shift. It's funny how the shock of a near miss can hit your hours later.

MouseholeCat · 08/08/2017 21:22

I cross Putney Bridge every day on my bike- it was so chilling to see that footage Sad. I'll be cycling extra slow with my Go Pro strapped on my helmet now on the off chance I spot this guy, although I doubt he'll be taking this route anymore...

passmethewineplease · 08/08/2017 21:24

Thank god that bus driver had such quick reactions.

What an absolute psycho. That poor woman. Notice how he doesn't go near the man that passed him. Angry

An utter dickhead

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 08/08/2017 21:27

Lol meanager aren't you funny! Hmm.
