To be so worried about the heatwave on the continent, and what it bodes for the future

Why is it unreasonable to have concerns about the world we're passing to our children and our children's children? Caring only about the here and now and only what affects you directly is a pretty narrow and selfish perspective.

Because it's my opinion.

The article highlights that 40 years ago there was a high temperature of 48 degrees in Europe. Then goes on to say temperatures 'could' reach 50 degrees by the end of this century. Equally, it night not.

So, on balance, not worth being 'so worried', in my view.
