A friend who says she's going to meet but doesn't!

I have one best friend we used to be really close but the last year I've barely seen her, we arrange a meet and she either says she can't make it on the day or doesn't even text at all until the next day! I haven't seen her in ages now and I'm just starting to think maybe we're in different stages of our lives now and don't have a great deal in common, I have a child and focus maybe on family life, and she's just moved in with a boyfriend.

I'm not one of those that talks about baby stuff all the time in fact we never speak about my child at all because I know she's not interested I'd think a friend of 10 years would be at least able to ask how my dd is once in a while though!

She's text this morning saying sorry about not texting me yesterday saying she was unable to meet and if I wanted to go round to her new place next weekend for drinks, I'm a single mum live rural, can't drive and she knows I won't have anyone to look after dd. I'm close to my mum but she is so busy I wouldn't want to leave dd with her. I've text friend saying I won't have a babysitter, she's read it and not replied,

Would I be wrong to just say forget meeting all together? I text her and get blatantly ignored, we arrange to meet and she drops out. I haven't even seen her this year and barely at all last year, she lives half an hour away!

Would you be able to talk to her about it? It's very disrespectful of her to treat you this way, but I know from experience that we allow some behaviour.

I think I would just leave if. She sounds unreliable . If she questions why you haven't replied, say something like I'm sorry but I don't feel very valued as a friend so I am leaving it for a bit.
