b) The stallion is purely a prop. Vanka talked him into it. "You get kittings, you get teeny-teeny puppies, you get stallion - it show sensitive side. Women love that shit!"

c) There is much more than horse dung under the vegetables behind the dacha. You really, really don't want to know. No. Really.

Did anyone see the news yesterday? Can't rember exactly but it was basically "Putin/Vlad has released footage of him fishing and is once again bare chested". I swear the female newsreader sighed in disgust.

(I think it's worth mentioning that Vanka is not married, and other than his brief bouncy-bouncy with Vango (whoever that may have been - I have my suspicions ) is pretty much a stranger to any bed except his own (narrow camping-width single, cast iron, wood-shaving mattress, army blanket - not exactly Rudolf Valentino in "The Sheik") )

I doubt that the reek of fish does anything for a man, though, no matter how impressive a hunter-gatherer he appears to be . . .

Heavens alive!! Finally caught up with the end of a live thread - only taken me since last weekend (well, I do have a full time job!!).

Almost wet myself reading Shaden's spangzelandish translation - read it to DH while he was trying to tidy up some very tangled cabling in the server room at work (I needed some entertainment on a Saturday lunchtime!!) I think he found it amusing too!! Now off to send a copy to DSis who's DH is 1/2 Spanish 1/2 Italian!!

He tends to concentrate on varieties of enormous beetroot, Tiger, They are the universal vegetable and superb in any dish (except, possibly, paella).

Jux - fish and beetroot macaroni is a popular weaning food in Russia I expect . It was the first solid food that Vlad was given by his loving Mamochka when she weaned him from her breast at the tender age of 14.
