Monday I went to meet my friend and her son (3) at soft play.
She had been living abroad for the last year.
I walk in soft play and see her son in the play area and walk straight over to him and pick him up and start talking to him
"You have got so big"
He looks at me so confused...obviously I haven't seen him for a year...so I say "I'm your mummy's best friend"
Then I spot my friend out of the corner of my eye ..carrying a random child!!!
It wasn't a random child,it was her son and I'm talking to a total strange child.
I smile and walk away very fast ....
Awkward!!
