Okay so I wasn't going to post until I'd had some kind of resolution. However, planning called today to ask if they could access my garden on Friday as they need to do some "further investigation" and have another planning official who will be there to oversee it??

They wouldn't tell me over the phone what it was about (it wasn't Nice Planning Lady, it was someone I hadn't spoken with before)

Okay, planners are coming at 12 today, I've just popped over to Ken's to top up on coffee and fancy biscuits (he didn't have and scones unfortunately) he asked me to come back over later and tell him how it went.

They advised the "may" need to remove what has been left outside. I think they mean the large piece of original brickwork but we will find out.

Stepping - we are now past this fist fight debate , now onto butter/no butter , homemade v bought jam , and which one ....... Blackcurrant has been mentioned. My own favourite is my home made rhubarb and vanilla :)

You should set up a cctv camera in your garden and have it streaming on the web. I'm sure we could all contribute to the cost to see it all happening live.
