Seriously, £250 that vacuum cleaner cost me and I don't know if it will survive the Orbeez hell which is my living room and kids bedroom.

Its worse than loom bands and you cant pick up the slippery bastards either, nor can you sweep them and Im fretting for my Mieles life.

I cant be the only one suffering?

Or have I already missed the thread.....

Hi. I had this problem a while ago. It was a short lived phase in this house, thank goodness. Dd had the foot spa variety. Dust pan and brush?? Might save your miele.

JennyOnAPlate · 01/08/2017 16:53

Dd2 asked for some of these for Christmas. She didn't get them Grin

Stick a stocking over the end of the hoover, you can Vac them up , but they don't go into the hoover.

GreeboIsACutePussPuss · 01/08/2017 18:00

Child I was babysitting knocked hers all over the floor as she was going to bed, I spent hours picking them all up, rinsing them and putting them back in the foot spa thing, only to find out when the child's mum got home that she'd already knocked it over that morning so the damn things were already all over the floor when I got there. Thankfully DD hasn't asked for them yet.

TippyTinkleTrousers · 01/08/2017 18:34

A stocking that's a good idea except there's millions of them. We'll be there all day.

We haven't got the foot spa, oh no.

I'm an idiot and just bought the flipping packets. 4 tiny tiny packets have resulted in three 5 buckets worth of bloody Orbeez.

I can't escape them.

Three or 5 Tippy?!

It's actually 3 bins but I thought you'd all judge me putting them into bins to so I changed the equiviant to buckets.

DONT BUY THEM.

This thread may have had unintended consequences.

Never heard of them so consulted Google. Now I want some.

I suspect I will live to regret it. Confused

Damn you, Orbeez!!!

TippyTinkleTrousers · 01/08/2017 19:09

They were absolutely brilliant for an afternoon. Great fun watching them grow and playing with them, hours of fun has been had.

But at my expense. And my Mieles .

Also, now they are starting to stink and it's only been 2 days.

Really stagnant. That's 3 children's and two adults hands and feet in and out of them all day long.

Yak.

chitofftheshovel · 01/08/2017 19:18

I've never heard of them either.

Waffles80 · 01/08/2017 20:25

But what are they for?

MyLittlePickleBoo · 01/08/2017 21:01

Ewwwww. Hahaha. Ok, that was the antidote I needed! Thank you, OP! Grin

Clandestino · 01/08/2017 21:50

Oh. This goes into the same category as play-doh. "Over my dead body and I'll still come to haunt you.'
