Hi guys! Wow I've just had a chance to come back on and noticed the last thread is full already?!

There also seems to be loads of people saying they're over it and don't believe me. That's fine, I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone. I had no idea that I would get so many responses when I initially asked for advice on this situation, however, they have really cheered me up through what has been a really crappy few days at points. Thanks all.

Sorry if ive pissed people off.

Anyway my Grandma has landed at the airport and should be with me in a couple of hours. It's not even that far away (she likes to take her time)

@Motheroffourdragons Its a fun tool for organising stuff but for this one the entertainment value is entirely from all the contributors writing and submissions on the threads and for the board.

So this has literally gripped me all weekend between trying to pack my house for a move and having a big argument with my mother via WhatsApp. I am also a solicitor so the legal niceties of it are pretty interesting.

Out of interest -am I right in thinking SpanGran is here entirely because of CFN? Or was she coming anyway? I think the former bit just clarifying. That's one hell of a dedicated granny either way!

Love these threads. Took me since Saturday to catch up. Kept DP busy too, looking at people who have been prosecuted for doing simular things to listed properties. The fines are unreal and the rectification costs even worse. Almost makes you feel sorry for CFN not really the are cheeky fuckers of the highest order

I used to know a guy from Shropshire whose business was acquiring and selling old bricks. I was surprised that they were much sought after but they were, he made a good living, probalyfro people who didn't understand hard words like 'planning permission' and 'listed' The CFB may need to buy a load!
