I went for lunch today and got my phone out at the table to check on CFN progress which is most unlike me. Left the cafe, drove ten mins to a garden centre went to get phone out again for an update and realised I'd left it in the cafe.

Thankfully some one had handed it in.

I went for a cupperty with my Mum in a café, told her all about CFN without mentioning how much time I had wasted reading all the threads and couple at next door table joined in. Then someone at the table on the other side of them joined in and before you could say CFN most of the tables were talking about it. We think CFN are dodgy developers.

I live in Mablethorpe (and very nice it is too) do I need to do anything?!

People have been posting which they're reading this from. One of the posters said they were from Mabelthorpe, probably on thread 6, I can't remember now. Anyway it's been joked about and picked up as a good thread title. Read the last few comments on thread 6.

I have to admit to being shocked that any property could be sold on without the buyers being made fully aware of any cock-up like this in the offing - surely it must be against the law to hide this info and not make all the grisly details known. I imagine you would be lucky to give away a property which has a ListedSwordofDamocles hanging over it.

I was also a tad surprised that the planning office people didn't secure the crappy doors themselves to prevent any evidence from going walkabout. You'd think they would keep heavy chains and padlocks some suitable ties about their persons for just such an occasion.

Still, even if the CFNs don't show up soon, maybe we'll have a planning update to look forward to . . . .

I thought I had CFN cutting down my tree even though I told them no but this takes the buscuit. I've been filling in DH as well!

I'm getting extremely concerned at the whereabouts of the CFN's [B&J].

Was the second surreptitious visit by CFB perhaps used to brick both B&J behind a fake wall somewhere?

Was the extractor fan left on to cover up their wails of help and dry out the mortar fast?

Should we have a meeting of the "CFN thread, Mablethorpe Chapter?"

I think the Mablethorpe reference is because after waves from Croatia, France and Canada, I decided to wave from Mablethorpe....why not?! 😊
