I can't believe we're on 7.

In need to go and catch up on the last couple of pages of 6.

Still no CFN OR ANYONE.

I'm thinking someone will be there tomorrow. HOPEFULLY.

Watt total agree with pp let the officials sort who owns what/ is going to get in trouble for what leave them to it!! All I would do is take legal advice (I know your in the process of doing that) about how you can legal secure your property and take action to prevent damage/access to your property!! Let the officials take down CFN/CFB!

crazynutterwoman · 31/07/2017 11:51

And if you do engage with them, at least record it on your phone cam. You don't want them accusing you of abuse or physically attacking them. It will become a "he said, she said" argument later

Shezza71 · 31/07/2017 11:51

kevstep EKL(elderly Korean lady) it's a thread recommended by MNetters to read while waiting for updates lol
not sure how to share the link to it

Wattyy Flowers Brew
Please do as several PPs have suggested and consult a solicitor and get a letter to them re garden. English Heritage will get the issue of the doors sorted eventually but you need something quick and very scarily official to go to them specifically regarding your garden.
What a horrible confrontation. Hope you're ok (((hugs)))

FidgetWidget · 31/07/2017 11:54

FWIW I think you should secure your garden as soon as possible by any means possible - I'm sure some local tradesman would turn out in double quick time given your circumstances. I also think you should make it abundantly clear to CFNs & CFBs that your garden is private - NO ENTRY signs, PRIVATE PROPERTY signs. If that means attaching to the offending patio doors, so be it.

terrylene · 31/07/2017 11:54

I would google as crazynutterwoman described.

I think you are probably in this for the long haul Sad

Get yourself cctv for the garden (not directly at the window/doors but so you can see if anyone goes through them) for when you are not there.

Put a bench across the doors (and some flower pots)

Seek advice from you solicitor. Know your rights and limitations. Make sure they understand you are dealing with crazies who think rules do not apply to them, and not normally behaving people/builders who have got it a bit wrong.

If you have friends/relatives who will come and stay for the duration, or come and go, this will probably be a good thing, overall (although we all know they have their problems too Grin )

Donttouchthethings · 31/07/2017 11:55

O.M.G! My heart was in my mouth then.
Please do take care, OP. It all sounds very stressful. Flowers

WhatIsThisWatt · 31/07/2017 12:00

Friend is bringing a large bench type thing similar to pic. She says she's had it for ages but I am suspicious she's gone out and bought it especially Blush

I'm looking out some plant pots to put on top Grin

I've clearly missed something along the way. What Chinese woman?

mothertruck3r · 31/07/2017 12:02

You can find out who the owners are from the Land Registry! Not sure how long it takes to update when someone buys a property but it is something like £6 to find out. Why don't you just do that then you will know for sure?

nippiesweetie · 31/07/2017 12:03

Watty Is the rubble still in your garden, including the large chunk of original brickwork, or did they take that when they came back and left the cigarette butts? Sorry if you've already said and I missed it. I thought the listed buildings people had told them not to remove it.

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 12:04

Wow OP what a rollercoaster ride this is. Clearly the CFBs are effectively declining to give you any information that would incriminate them by acting dumb. What a bunch of utterly brainless wankers. Good on NPL (aka Olivia Coleman) for making this a priority but do also (as recommended by PPs) seek your own legal advice. If you feel even remotely intimidated, scared or in danger please call the police. I know they can't do anything regarding trespass but if you feel they are stalking you and making you feel unsafe in your own home, then that is a different matter, I'm sure. Well done OP. My hands were shaking with you x

shakingmyhead1 · 31/07/2017 12:04

GTF is awesome! and it will be good having spangran there she can watch over the garden and run anyone off with her pan ( although i actually picture her yelling "you go now" while smacking them about the legs with the broom)

WoofWoofMooWoof · 31/07/2017 12:05

Smeaton that's brilliant! And now going to have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Cheers!

MadamePomfrey · 31/07/2017 12:05

Not that I want to wind them up but that bench would be the perfect home for some gnomes 😉 To add to the collection of ideas may I suggest these lovelies

What you want is some concrete horses (sold in Sweden as decorative barricades) - they each weigh 450kg/71stone

FUNM · 31/07/2017 12:07

You need a pinhole camera for the garden - maybe attach to a garden gnome - www.google.co.uk/search?q=spy+camera+uk&oq=spy+camera+uk&aqs=chrome..69i57.5345j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Are there any camera experts among the MNers here?

ASDismynormality · 31/07/2017 12:07

You have a good friend OP, the bench is a good idea.

MrsMozart · 31/07/2017 12:08

Good about the bench! Like the flower pots on top idea.

I'd be mean and put some of that screening stuff, to the height of the bottom of where the window was , behind it. Not give the CFN or CFB a pretty view.

mikeyssister · 31/07/2017 12:08

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude StarStar
