Do you have a time machine?

It doesn't start til 10.

CockacidalManiac · 29/07/2017 09:43

I haven't watched Saturday morning tv for years. Is Tiswas still on?

Gotanewusernamenow · 29/07/2017 09:44

Or swap shopSmile

TroysMammy · 29/07/2017 09:45

The omelette challenge. FFS it's semi cooked scrambled eggs. If someone gave me an omelette like that I'd squish it into their face and scream "you eat it".

PoppyPopcorn · 29/07/2017 09:46

Some of the presenters are ok, others not so much. Quite like Donal Skehsn and John Torode presenting, not so keen on Michel Roux.

Gotanewusernamenow · 29/07/2017 09:47

Agree with the omelettes- they aren't cooked!

MorrisZapp · 29/07/2017 09:49

It's so rubbish since James Martin left. They need to find a permanent presenter and let them bed in and find their feet.

Having said that, Michel Roux is usually good. The Venn diagram of good chefs and charismatic tv presenters must be pretty narrow.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 29/07/2017 09:52

I fucking hate the fucking omlette challenge!

Plus they seem to time it deliberately, so you get up with a hangover (or HG) and the first thing you see is a plate of yellow lumpy liquid on a plate. Envy

MorrisZapp · 29/07/2017 09:55

My sister said of James Martin, he's been presenting the programme for years but he hasn't got any better :)

He was reassuringly cheesy and I loved him.

Trills · 29/07/2017 10:00

Does the presenter actually have to be a "good chef"?

I think they should go for a good presenter who is a mediocre chef, over a good chef who is a mediocre presenter.

James Martin was comfy and familiar. Many a happy hangover spent not paying attention to him.

I agree. And the Sunday morning one on channel 4 is awful too.
