Id be shaming their businesses. Like a shot. They've brought it on themselves Confused

kali110 · 27/07/2017 14:14

Put a huge plant pog on your drive till you get a bollard

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 27/07/2017 14:15

I need to know what went on between CFN and SWN.

Nellysmagichat · 27/07/2017 14:18

So will we ever find out whether the 'stolen' wheels made it back onto the car or not? Confused

LazySusan11 · 27/07/2017 14:20

Totally place marking, people are presuming the op has stolen tyres when she categorically said she too has been a victim of the same crime previously.

The police would struggle to prove who the offender is. though they might suspect Wink

Mummyoflittledragon · 27/07/2017 14:24

CFN is one cheeky fucker. Omg! Good your getting bollards!

SnickersWasAHorse · 27/07/2017 14:26

Given that there would seem to have been previous issues between the CFN and SWN I wonder if SWN might know something about the tyres.

When OP went to work she seems fairly sure that the car was going to go when she was out.

JenziW · 27/07/2017 14:26

I hope if "tyre thief" returns with the wheels they are left conveniently next to the car to make it easier for CFNE to put them back on.

Yes what's the backstory with CFN & SWN?

I agree with bollards / chains.

If CFN needs additional space for parking for clients clearly the location is not suitable for running their business from?!

You could offer CFN can pay to use one of your driveways during agreed ours for clients! But that probably needs some sort of insurance when money changes hands? (No idea on that) put CCTV up too in that case. Just in case any damage to your property occurs you.

JenziW · 27/07/2017 14:27

...can prove it and reclaim repair costs.

SoupDragon · 27/07/2017 14:28

🚗

Scrumptiousbears · 27/07/2017 14:34

Your neighbour is a cheeky fucker.

UnicornSparkles1 · 27/07/2017 14:35

The tyres are gone?! Amazing karma!

Articu · 27/07/2017 14:36

I guess the car owner would have let you know if they have a dashboard camera. I have one but it's obvious.

PhilippeFlop · 27/07/2017 14:36

Dropping off (not parking) for a casual place mark

gobster · 27/07/2017 14:37

Wow

To think, for CFN this could have gone so differently if when you knocked about the car on your drive yesterday, they had been apologetic and moved it instantly and then followed it up with a polite chat about whether you'd mind if they parked there the days you where you were at work!

Some people have no idea that being polite will more often that not get you what you want, now instead they've ruined it for themselves as they'll never be able to park there once a bollard is installed. I

Fitzsimmons · 27/07/2017 14:39

These parking threads never get tyred (shameless pun-marking)

gingergenius · 27/07/2017 14:40

This would also be a highways agency issue so worth reporting to them also

TheMaddHugger · 27/07/2017 14:44

I feel sorry for the Dogs being groomed. Dogs are very perceptive. They 'Know' these groomers are Terrible people

faithinthesound · 27/07/2017 14:51

After that nonsense, forget what I said before. Nuts to "It can be moved this afternoon". It can bloody well be moved right now or missing tires will be the least of his problems.

Am I the only one who wants OP to update after the bollard is put in to tell us how CFN reacts to it?

justkeepswimmingg · 27/07/2017 14:53

So he has basically stated that his clients use your drive during the day to do drop offs! He is completely mad thinking your drive is some kind of public property, and there isn't a problem. Hopefully you can get some drop bollards fitted very soon OP. I'd be fuming, and posting dog poo threw his letter box!

Unlikelyfarmerswife · 27/07/2017 14:54

So what happened with the tyres?!

shakingmyhead1 · 27/07/2017 14:55

faithinthesound no Blush

Inertia · 27/07/2017 14:56

I can't get over the cheek of CFN telling you that clients will still use the drive for dropping off!

You're probably wise to avoid online attacks on his business, but he keeps proving the point that his home is not a suitable premises for the business, so it'd definitely be worth referring to the relevant department of your local council.

MiddleClassProblem · 27/07/2017 14:58

Well when people are working full time out the house there is no one using their toilet all day but it doesn't mean some can come in and use it.

Can you report him in some way to the council or the police?
