I would put a message on their business page stating that you do not give permission for your drive being used for any reason. Anyone caught using your drive will be reported to the police / invoiced £5 per minute / have their car shat on

AlphaBites · 27/07/2017 15:01

The issue with the neighbours about the amount of times this twat has blocked others in is ridiculous.

Car is still fucking there. 😡 I'm going out with DD for some air, as staying home is doing my head in.

Lweji · 27/07/2017 15:03

Tell them you will block them in in 30 min. Up to them.

Hissy · 27/07/2017 15:04

The car needs to go NOW

or you will call a tow truck and get it removed to their premises and at their cost.

Oh and it's a slow news day, so you're inviting the local press

AnnaCantata · 27/07/2017 15:07

I think you can legitimately comment on their business social media that it has come to your attention that customers have been parking on your drive and you'd like to point out that it is private property. I also think you can legitimately talk to the council about this as they clearly can't manage a business from their home without disrupting the neighbourhood.

Theycalledmethewildrose · 27/07/2017 15:09

Well the employee is obviously taking his cues from his employer. Refusing to move his car yesterday when you asked him to is shocking behaviour. The neighbour's attitude today was shocking too.

You will have to put up with it if you don't erect a physical barrier, two barriers probably as they will just start parking in the other drive if they can't access the first.

Unicorn81 · 27/07/2017 15:13

Total fuckwits!

flumpybear · 27/07/2017 15:14

diddl · 27/07/2017 15:18

If clients dropping off have been doing it then he must have told them that they can.

I'm sure it wouldn't occur to ost people to park on someome's drive even "just" for that.

I might take a risk & park across a drive if I really was just going to be dropping off-but park on a stranger's drive?

Would never occur to me that that was acceptable.

If there's not enough parking for the business then they'll have to run it from somewhere else, won't they?

KeepServingTheDrinks · 27/07/2017 15:20

AlphaBites I'd like to congratulate you on your dignity.

Articu · 27/07/2017 15:21

What's happened with the wheels?

Did you give them back or were they actually stolen?

ColourfulOrangex · 27/07/2017 15:25

What a bunch of idiots, they still don't seem to get it Confused

Merrymumoftwo · 27/07/2017 15:28

I think you and neighbours need to now report to council as this person needs to move this business to a commercial premises due to the nuisance and anti social behaviour it is causing. The last part can be recorded with your local neighbourhood policing team also. I would also log future incidents as anti social behaviour with the police. Most forces allow you to email in reports. This will help as due to comments they made I can see this escalating. Encourage neighbours having problems to also log this. Good luck and keep copies of all emails sent.

HerOtherHalf · 27/07/2017 15:28

I would now be penning a letter to CNE stating that under no circumstances are his household, his employees or his customers to park on your property under any circumstances. Remind him that you are legally entitled to expect to use and enjoy your own property at any time and he has no right to offer your drive as parking for his customers just because he doesn't think you need access to it at that moment. Advise him that if he is unable or unwilling to ensure his customers/employees etc desist from using your driveway you will have no option but to install security bollards and will take legal action to recoup the costs from him. Keep a copy of the letter and send it recorded delivery.

I would also set up a cheap camera in a window covering the drive to record any instances of unauthorised parking to support the need for installation of barriers should that prove necessary.

AdalindSchade · 27/07/2017 15:30

Are the tyres back on the car?

NicolasFlamel · 27/07/2017 15:30

Confused how will he get it moved with no wheels?

GutterStar · 27/07/2017 15:32

So what's going on with the tyres?????

KitKat1985 · 27/07/2017 15:35

I can't believe the car is still fucking there!

Groovee · 27/07/2017 15:42

Are they waiting on new tyres?

Hortonlovesahoo · 27/07/2017 15:43

I would definitely be reporting this to the council as it's obviously causing a nuisance if it's now to at least 2 residents.

He sounds like a right delight to live near... I'd be giving them an ultimatum about the car. It's gone within the hour or the tyres would be the least of their worries.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 27/07/2017 15:43

Did the thieves return the tyres?

flissfloss65 · 27/07/2017 15:45

As others have said, beyond any acceptable behaviour.

I'd report parking issues regarding her business to the Council. I would also seek advice from a solicitor and have them write to the idiot neighbour outlining consequences of continuing parking on your property.

I've never seen a bollard on someone's actual drive, only in car park spaces. Why have the inconvenience. I'd go the the above route first.

ohfourfoxache · 27/07/2017 15:45

Fucking hell, they're still there???? Shock

scotchpie · 27/07/2017 15:46
