The jeep clip reminds me of the time at a motorway facilities when we almost blocked in a van that was parked parallel, across three parking spaces. Luckily for them they were just about to leave. I parked right behind them and the other car decided to wait for them to take off.
I'd have parked right in front of them, but the other driver was too nice.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 29/07/2017 13:11

Thank you maddhugger! I kept on seeimg the same abbreviation and thought it was the same poster who changed their name.

Bunnyfuller · 29/07/2017 13:17

He's breaking the law if he's blocking your access to the public highway.

rightwhine · 29/07/2017 13:54

You need notices expressly forbidding clients dropping off or parking on your drive now. The only way to resolve this is through their customers. Most decent customers will be horrified if they are aware of the issues. The politer the notices, and the more the issues are highlighted, the more effect they will have.

A pp suggested good words above where it says that cfn and their clients are not excluded.

Mix56 · 29/07/2017 14:17

They know you are out all day at work, they will continue to do exactly what they have been doing. until you block off the drive.
unless you rent one to them

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 29/07/2017 14:26

Yes you must get on and get those bollards in, as must all your neighbours or they'll start having the same problem.

Lostinaseaofbubbles · 29/07/2017 16:18

Can a legal eagle help you out with officially worded notices that your lovely neighbour can leave on any cars left in your drives and an alternate one for any car blocking anyones' access??

Just keep recording times, number plates etc and take it all to the council.

BeepBeepMOVE · 29/07/2017 16:26

@Ruhrpott

You can get remote control ones that go up and down from flat to vertical rather than into the ground and they start at about £100. Much cheaper than £7k and no getting out of the car.

BeepBeepMOVE · 29/07/2017 16:27

OP, now is the time to start writing reviews for this business online. I'm sure between us we can find some dodgy doggy haircut photos to post.

Ruhrpott · 29/07/2017 19:53

@BeepBeepMove problem is as you can see in photo we have to come in sideways so bollands would either have to somehow sink into ground or we would have to drive over them.

I will start by trying to get their deeds and planning permission.

NoFucksImAQueen · 29/07/2017 19:58

Ignore the people telling you this is your fault it's NOT. You tried to deal with them civilly and they laughed in your face. People like CFN thrive on others backing down and giving into them. They are the epitome of entitled

SteppingOnToes · 29/07/2017 21:45

Any updates OP? Has it all calmed down? I hope it has...

yawning801 · 30/07/2017 11:08

Well the latest antics of CFN really take the Biscuit. I hope you are keeping a diary of all his stupidity to report to the council if/when they decide to do something about it.

TheMaddHugger · 30/07/2017 12:05

DrinkFeckArseGirls It's ok, I understand the confusion. CFN stands for Cheeky Fucnkin Neighbour.

there has had to have been a full moon to have soo many this past fortnight.

There is also the CFN with the paintbrush Oi

TooSleepyToCare · 31/07/2017 07:37

Hope the council can help today Alpha. Good luck

somewhereovertherain · 31/07/2017 09:44

Another thought is to contact a local parking company get them to put up signs about fines and start tickieting them. The parking companies are usually paid by the fines. Not sure how small they go but maybe worth asking.

m4rdybum · 31/07/2017 10:25

How'd you get on with the council today, OP?

shallichangemyname · 31/07/2017 11:56

If the block you in or park on your drive knowing you've asked them to cease it is a form of harassment. Complain to the police. They will pay CFN a visit and serve her with a PIN (it's a notice that a complaint has been made, explains the law and tells them to stop). It goes on your "record" for a year.

StormTreader · 31/07/2017 11:57

Any news yet?

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 12:06

Hope you have some joy with the council today @AlphaBites

AlphaBites · 31/07/2017 12:32

It's got worse.

Pics etc have been taken as just this morning 3 customers parked on the front drive. DH home today doing childcare for the week and he has text me each time.

Each time DH has gone out and said "Move your car." 2 apologised and left straight away the third did the "I'll only be a minute !" and got the dog out of the car, he was told with 'I'll move it for you." and pointed to a tow rope, he put by the drive. Customer quickly put the dog back in the car ! Hmm

CFNE parked near the back drive this morning but JUST on the border of the dropped kerb to prove a point.

DH is getting the rage now and has gone out to get a big Fuck Off chain and lock from B&Q.

Council will have a copy of all pics of each car etc from today and if necessary we will go to MP about lack of action from council. Angry

This is ridiculous! I wonder if you couldn't call 101 and ask them for help now? this is not just someone parking in the wrong space, this is escalating to a whole new level of parking warfare.

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 12:35

Oh @AlphaBites how unbearably stressful for you. I'm glad the clients had the good grace to move but omg what an absolute nightmare for you and DH to manage. I cannot believe the utter entitled fuckery in the world at the moment. We all wish we could do more to help, I know!

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 12:37

Harassment is a criminal offence. Your CFN is harassing you by continuing to instruct clients to park in your drive, in spite of knowing s/he shouldn't, and having been asked not to. If it continues. Phone 101 and tell them your neighbour is harassing you.

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 12:46

See this link: http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/stoou/stalkinganddharassment/#a02a

The phrase 'causing alarm and distress' is probly quite accurate here. Might be Worthing thinking about.
