...highlighting my vulva!?

My first thread, so please bear with me.

AIBU to ask what in the world is going on when there's a new product launching this Thursday to highlight vulvas (Not Volvos)!?

I think it's called PerfectV and it's certainly not for victory. Not for women anyway. I understand it's supposed to be some sort of beauty product that helps sort your V out after all the waxing, piercing, vajewelling, etc that goes on down there!

Is it healthy to highlight vulvas? I doubt it very much...

There's always the cheaper version - does anyone remember the thread about the poster who give herself a good wash with a flannel before a smear test?

I seem to remember that the gp remarked on her making a special effort, only for her to find - on returning home - that her DD, for some reason or other, had hidden her stash of glitter in the flannel. It ended up adorning the mnetter's pubes.

Flippin' heck! Whatever made some sad soul think about that?!

I wonder if the person who actually designed the initial idea, is a man or a woman, exactly, come to that. No pun intended😂🤔. I'd be fascinated to know and ask them as to why the 'eck they designed this product? Can men use it too, OP?

What will these people who design think of next. I wonder how they describe their job title too🤔? The more I think of it, I can just think of yet more questions...

One thing I'm sure of, is that I'm staying 'au natural'. I can think of much better ways to spend money on and is far more appealing and appreciated by DH. Take me out to dinner... 😉

Thanks for the giggles everyone. And a great subject raising important issues too.
Marketing world and beauty product companies should back the F away from our vulvas!

Considering a lot of men don't know where they are, am surprised some corporate marketing director (usually male of course, and paid more than a woman if she were lucky to get the job) came up with this!
