To wish my neighbours would stop slamming their door?

Next door terrace house. They slam their front door closed no matter how late at night. One night I would love to go down at 1 am and slam my door about 10 times just to get the message across - but of course I never would...

Do you ever see them? Just ask them nicely if they could close the Fodor more gently as it wakes you up when they slam it.

HH - I don't think I can mention it because I've already had to speak to them about loud music and noise in the garden late at night! I think it's at attitude thing - most of my neighbours know that living in crowded together terrace houses is only bearable if everyone is considerate - but these are 20 something girls who seem to think they can do whatever they please...

Maybe they don't realise they do it. I'm constantly having a go at my daughters for slamming and banging in case it bothers the neighbours. If my neighbours approached me I'd be horrified and very apologetic.

My friend had a really dodgy front door and you can only close it by slamming it. She has been on and on to her landlord about it but hasn't been fixed. Just putting it across that maybe it can't be helped.
