Relative staying at the moment.

She is sat in our front doorstep in her nightie smoking a cig.

I'm embarrassed.

YANBU - and I say that as a smoker. I would ever smoke outside my front door and always go outside the back lane. I agree it looks common

I have a neighbour who does this, they have a massive back garden, but insist on going out the front. Why?

I'm with you, my neighbours all do this & I can't for the life of me figure out why they don't go out the back, it's weird & it also means the smoke smell ends up in my house grrrr

So what if she is wearing her nightie? She is perfectly decent and presumably not flashing her arse or tits at the neighbours. They will get over it, if they even notice in the first place. So will you. Stop pearl clutching.
