To never go on holiday with 2 year old and in laws

I have just had the worst holiday of my life.

Combining a tantrumming 2 year old and in laws I cannot stand.

Safe to say I will never be doing that again.

You will need to elaborate.

Ideally with some photos and a diagram. Grin

I like my inlaws but holidaying with them is a challenge. They once asked us if we wanted to go on a big holiday all together. They wanted to go the same week that we always go (because it's cheaper) and as we couldn't afford two holidays, we declined but agreed to meet up for a day out together. They booked their holiday, we booked somewhere 60 miles away, they cancelled their holiday and booked somewhere next door to us! It was a freaking nightmare. On the way home, they phoned telling us they were booking a holiday abroad for us all for the next year and it would be x amount each. No freaking way was I going!

family is like fresh fish. how it in the house for more than a couple of days and it goes off. never would spend more than a weekend with any of my relatives or in laws - none of them.

One (albeit beautiful) villa and one hire car.
Two interfering mithering in laws.
One terrible two year old.

I am glad to be home.
