Inspired after reading the post about the twat who stood and watched the OP reverse her car in to a bollard and then laughed at her....
Has anyone been an utter arsehole to you/someone you know and you had the great pleasure of witnessing their comeuppance?

For example - once DH and I were driving through the peak district on winding country lanes and a white van driver was aggressively tailing us and then dangerously overtook on a blind bend... 20 mins later we passed him and he was pulled over by the police and stood by his van looking very sorry for himself Grin

Ahhh karma can be a bitch!

My neighbours burned a whole tree one hot evening, nobody could open any windows and the flames were as high as the houses. Children could not sleep, flames and smoke accompanied by drunken shouting went on all night.
The next night their car was broken into; they had packed it with the luggage for their holiday. It was all stolen.

I used to walk to school via Waitrose car park. One time (I think I was sixth form so probably not in uniform bit still v young) a bloke came out of the shop and levered at me in a way that made me feel really uncomfortable. He then walked straight into a lamp post and the bag split open, shopping everywhere, eggs smashed and dripping. How i sniggered.

My ex (who left me for ow) recently bought the car we had always talked about when we were together but could never afford.
He bought it brand new, two weeks later he drove into a wooden bollard near school and dented and scratched the whole passenger side.
I smiled a smug smile that day Grin

Oooh I love a good karma thread. Same as you pretty much up, twat tailgating us, overtook on a bend and got pulled by police waiting further up. I smiled and waved.

Exh has spent ten years bad mouthing me to both ds. . Even told them I was a prostitute!
At 12+14 they saw HIM for what he is and live full time with me and nc with him.

He has just spent weeks in hospital with no visitors so seems it's not just the dc who have seen through him. .

I know we shouldn't take pleasure in seeing others suffer and we should forgive those that wrong us... but there is something oh so satisfying about karma striking sometimes.

Boy racer tailgating me out of my local town and then overtaking me as i wasnt going fast enough in a 40 zone, 2 miles later i find he had cliped the verge and spun into a field, even better i was driving a discovery and he needed my help to pull him out 😂😂😂 i was so tempted to say something but i didnt, he was very sheepish!

Plodding along in incredibly slow moving traffic on the motorway one day. Quite a few people sailing down the hard shoulder then forcing themselves into traffic. Then the hard shoulder started to move really slowly too. Motorway police had one of their big Chelsea tractor type thingers (Land Rover? Eternal pedestrian so I'm not good with the different breeds of car:o ) parked up and we're ticketing everyone on the hard shoulder. People were desperately trying to pull back into traffic, but the near stationary queues were impenetrable. Never have I seen a bunch of motorists working together for the greater good in a better way. It was glorious.

Spotted a woman pretending not to see her dog doing a poo. Pointedly offered her a bag which she replied to with a laugh. Dog then ran through the massive sloppy poo and jumped up at her leaving a load of sloppy paw prints Grin

On my way home on the motorway tonight I was overtaking a long line of slower vehicles. Twat comes up behind me, on my bumper, flashing his lights and waving at me to move over. I couldn't pull in because the traffic I was overtaking was too close together, and I certainly wasn't breaking the speed limit just to make twat happy. Once I cleared the traffic and tucked back in again twat went roaring past me, mouthing off at me wth his kids in the back Hmm

Around the next corner the traffic was at a standstill, but the queue was just after the slip road I was taking. I took immense satisfaction in waving at twat, stuck in the massive tailback, while I sailed on by up the slip road Grin

I used to be 20 stone, my OH at the time fancied bigger girls but left me for being too fat in the end and just plain being a massive douche. SInce lost 10 stone and happened to walk past him....looking rather portly. I cat walked home that day.

Many years ago I worked in a small office - just me, my now best friend and the boss who was a sex pest, chasing us round the boardroom table etc. He and three or four of his friends would go out for a long boozy lunch and then create havoc in the office, leching at us and chasing us round the office. They were super posh and thought they were superior in every way.

Some years later I started a new job in an office which not only had a staff restaurant but also a bar. First day, had lunch with a couple of people in my office, after which we went to the bar. I opened my mouth to order when I realised that the barman was one of the oh so posh friends from earlier job. How the mighty had fallen. He was red with embarrassment and ground out 'just don't say a word' to which I replied 'two red wine and a lager please, Norman' (. He cringed every time I went in the bar Grin

Waiting at the lights, a car pulls up in the right hand lane next to us.
Its clearly driven by a boy racer type, revving engine, inching up over the line, leering at our car etc etc.
Lights turn green, we pull away and he…
STALLS!

it happened to me. I saw a lovely dining table set in a local hospice shop ( the amazing one that looked after my dying grandadBlush). it was a good make and just what I was after. I haggled hard - they wanted £250 or something for it, many years ago so not cheap. I bargained hard, pointed out every scratch managed to get £80 off. The woman was good, she was determined to get a good price for it.

so I left happy and headed back to the car and had a ticket. it was one of those private car parks for a parade of shops. the baliff/parking person (?) was sat in his car waiting for me to get back. 20 mins to pay £120 before the tow truck arrived.

instant karma - there were 21 signs pointing out the charges which he helpfully showed me!

Another boy racer one, i was driving home at night in my diddy fiat panda. The road ahead had been dug up and was around 6 inches lower than the part I was on. This lad had been on my bumper for a while and as I slowed down to go down the drop he swerved round me and put his foot down. How he didn't rip his lowered front bumper off I don't know. He obviously didn't want to lose face so carried on speeding up the lowered road with shingle and ballast flying in all directions.

I have a nicer one ...a few years ago I was standing behind a teenager in a shop. He was short about 20p for his shopping, so I automatically just offered him a 20p. He was very grateful, no problem I said.
On the way home I literally had a fiver blow into my path. No one else around so wasn't anyone to ask if they had lost it.

While we were on holiday we had a couple of my (much younger friends) move into the house to watch the house and animals. When we got back they told us that NDN had been round, very aggressive (to an 18 yo girl) shouting about the dogs barking, although the girls said they weren't aware of dogs barking. DH went to see him when we got back, apologised and said we would block up cat flap (which we did) to stop dog being able to stick his head through it and back so neighbours could hear. NDN was all v nice to DH, although from what the girls were saying he was very nasty to them, which pissed me off.
Next week one night I heard ddog barking in the night, ran down to quiet him. Next day NDN came to ask me if our car was alright (it was) as his had been broken in to. Maybe if he'd heard our dog barking........

I was once cycling on a busy A road. Two blokes in a convertible shouted at me as they went by and nearly knocked me off my bike- very near miss.
As I cycled on I saw they had pulled over ahead of me on the road- just as I was wondering why, I ran over and broke a very expensive pair of sunglasses.
It was a beautiful moment!

It happens a lot with a horrible family member of mine. She will throw a party on a day she knows I can't come and either something goes drastically wrong, or nobody comes and it gets cancelled.

It's great!!!
