Going away this wkend, can go anywhere in uk, but would love to know if you live somewhere lovely that isn't going to chuck it down Saturday and Sunday!!? I love camping but it's looking to be a wash out everywhere we suggest!!

I was going to post a similar dilemma - wondering if it's worth us meeting friends at a campsite about 2pm, putting up a 4 bedroom tent with living area (for the first time!), only to have to dismantle it at 11am the next day to get the kids back in time for something the following day.
I wanted to attempt it just to get the bloody thing out once (had it 3 years and never used it). Totally pointless in the rain 😕

  • we're in Yorkshire, on the coast, so I guess you can cross this area off your list!

Lake district was our plan.

Ruled out peak district, Yorkshire moors, Snowdon, new forest, south downs... nowhere seems set for good weather but you know that if we cancel we'll sit at home and the country will have a heatwave.... I'm so looking forward to it too Sad

Cotswolds are a washout too :(
