Yes I'm really late to the party but just watching the first episode on iPlayer, and it's so good! Really funny and genuine, and original too.

Little bit in love with Phoebe Waller-Bridge And I have to say that her character comes off far better than I would in the situations she finds herself in..!

I didn't think it was funny at all

I really wanted to like it, but just found it self-regarding and totally unfunny. Not one character was in any way relatable or sympathetic. I thought it might just be that I'm not the target demographic, but Ian Hyland (the tv critic, who I really like) raved about it. Oh well, you can't win them all.

I recommend 'crashing' as well similar humour.

I very much doubt I'm the target demographic and I thought it was great - made me cry a few times. I agree the characters weren't particularly likeable but I still cared about them which I think is a sign of really good writing and acting.

But I'm ambivalent about a second series. I think sometimes it's better to move on and Phoebe WB is so talented she could do almost anything she wanted. I'd definitely start watching Dr Who again for her.
