Or any others for that matter. Which nappies do you think are overall the best for your LOs? TIA

Tesco or Aldi. Pampers always leaked on us.

paddypants13 · 15/07/2017 15:11

Asda for newborns in particular but also good for older children. I didn't like the Aldi ones for ds when he was a newborn but I've been using the bigger sizes and they're great.

Pampers here for both a DS and DD.

Sainsbury's are OK, not for overnight though.

Not tried Aldi but have tried pretty much everything else.

Don't bulk buy before baby arrives. Test a few brands before you decide.

CheeseAndBeans · 15/07/2017 15:27

Aldi here. Used asda, tesco, pampers with my first and they all seemed to leak. My 11 month old is fine with aldi and 3 year old wears their pull ups at night no issues.

Welshrainbow · 15/07/2017 16:43

Sainsburys here, we found asda and pampers both leak too easily. We had to move up a size to hold even a couple of wees from pampers and asda and then they were too big round the legs. Tesco and aldi are both pretty good too though. I think different nappies will suit different kids so just keep trying different brands till you find the ones you like.

Pampers are the best for us the baby dry ones

Asdas own were crap kept leaking

Weren't a fan of lidils or Aldis nappies either

Roomba · 15/07/2017 17:06

Aldi. Pampers gave both my DCs awful rashes, poor DS1 was bleeding after using them!

ASDA nappies were good too if I couldn't get to an Aldi. Sainsburys ones worked fine for daytime but leaked at night. Only ever used Boots nappies in the prem size but they worked fine too.

Rainatnight · 15/07/2017 17:11

Pampers hardly ever leak on DD. But I'm beginning to feel they're the wrong shape for her. She's 90th centile and pot bellied, and they sometimes seem too tight around her thighs and tummy yet too long from crotch to waist (IYSWIM). Any nappy recommendations for that shape?

BaxterStockboy · 15/07/2017 17:45

rain can you fold the nappy down, in the same way you do when newborn to avoid the umbilical cord? DS2 had massive thighs so I always had to use a size or 2 bigger to fit his legs but folded them down so they weren't as long.

Shinesun09 · 15/07/2017 17:57

We have a slim long girl and use Aldi in the day and the purple pampers in the nights

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 15/07/2017 18:52

That's a shame, I have two in cloth and it's the only part of laundry I enjoy as they're so cute shallow alert (I have four dc so literally mountains of boring boring laundry)

BlurryFace · 15/07/2017 19:57

Pampers are the only ones my three year old doesn't wet through during the night, pisses like a racehorse, that boy. For the two year old, we can use anything, even super cheap value range nappies. So I would say it's worth experimenting with all kinds of cheaper brands, but maybe keep a couple of ones you know work in case it all goes horribly wrong.

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 15/07/2017 20:06

Asda little angels are great

limon · 15/07/2017 20:25

Aldi. Aldi. Aldi. They are as good as pampers and so much cheaper. I tell all new mums and dads i know!
