Or any others for that matter. Which nappies do you think are overall the best for your LOs? TIA

Tesco were great until we got to the bigger sizes, then we had big problems with leaks. Currently using Sainsburys. She's a big 95 percentile 18 month old. We've tried aldi and morrisons, both leaky.

knockedover · 14/07/2017 23:55

Aldis newborn were great. Sainsbury's are awful, everyone else was unremarkable.

LolaTheDarkdestroyer · 15/07/2017 00:07

Sainsbury's! Pampers leak so do Aldi and Asda. Tesco's good too.
I used to use huggies until they discontinued.

SecretFreebirther · 15/07/2017 00:11

I like the Sainsbury's ones

maltedmilk1 · 15/07/2017 00:16

I have a chunky DD & we found pampers leaked wee up her back in the mornings when she woke up she would be damp. Aldi are really good and so are Tesco

MumsOnCrack · 15/07/2017 00:41

I'm going to try different ones - DD is using Pampers but leaking every single day and it's driving me mad!

MumsOnCrack · 15/07/2017 00:41

Guess I've been a brand slave...

gluteustothemaximus · 15/07/2017 00:43

Tesco are great. Cheap too Grin

Orangebird69 · 15/07/2017 00:52

Pampers Premium Protection. Used them since day one and never had a leak worthy of noting. I've tried Lidl and Sainsburys but they felt horrible and I could smell the wee. The texture of the outside of them reminds me of school toilet paper. Shiny scratchy tracing paper 😕

SquedgieBeckenheim · 15/07/2017 01:08

Out of those options - asda. Nice and soft, and fitted skinny DD2 really well. Only used size 1's though so can't comment beyond that. She's in cloth now.

LittleLionMansMummy · 15/07/2017 01:11

Aldi day and night, up to 12 hours. Their wipes are great too.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 15/07/2017 01:16

Have you considered cloth nappies? And I'm not just talking terrys, there's lots of lovely soft absorbent nappies that are shaped and have Velcro fasteners like a disposable, fit your baby like a glove and poonami blow outs are unheard of! Also if you live in a council area that runs a cloth nappy scheme you can get on average £50 towards buying cloth nappies.

DeadMorose · 15/07/2017 01:27

Pampers. Every other nappy is giving my DD a rash. Which is shit, because they're fucking expensive.

Helbelle75 · 15/07/2017 04:13

Amazon do really good bill deals on pampers deadmorose

Helbelle75 · 15/07/2017 04:14

^Bulk not bill

PinkUnicorn1990 · 15/07/2017 05:01

Boots for my petite DD Smile disliked the mesh layer on pampers didn't look very comfy! Asda and aldi couldn't cope with DDs explosive poo Confused

Topsyloulou · 15/07/2017 05:37

Aldi or Lidl for us. I found pampers leaked loads & boots came up quite small. DS is just finishing potty training & we've used Aldi since newborn with no problems. Will be using mainly Lidl when this baby is born as it's now nearer than Aldi.

silkybear · 15/07/2017 05:47

Aldi mamia are the best for us, day and night. Got a free sample of pampers and expected quality but they leaked so wasn't impressed.

catloony · 15/07/2017 05:48

Definitely agree that it is trial and error- what works for one marvellously can be the worst for another

Tobebythesea · 15/07/2017 06:25

Pampers premium protection are brilliant. Never had a problem unless we put it on incorrectly (skirt bit wasn't out). Didn't like the Aldi ones but their wipes are great.

MamaHanji · 15/07/2017 06:32

Pampers are by far the worst.

Aldi are the favourite, followed by sainsburys and then tescos. Although I find Aldi occasionally give me toddler a rash where he lining is. But it's not all the time. So we have swapped to sainsburys now as they are brilliant.

Hortonlovesahoo · 15/07/2017 06:33

I was told to try a small packet from all the brands and see which fitted the best as all babies are different. Pampers didn't work for us as a newborn but we've been wearing the "+" overnight since she slept through as it's the only nappy that will last 12+hours without leaking.

welshweasel · 15/07/2017 06:38

Only ever use Aldi (other than when he was really tiny and needed micro nappies, which were pampers). We use a size bigger at night than in the day and have never had issues with leaks. Also use their wipes.

Interestingly, apparently 90% of kids at his nursery are in Aldi nappies (it's a fairly expensive nursery in an affluent area with a choice of supermarkets so I doubt that's based on cost) and it's not unusual to see people popping into Aldi just for nappies.

hana32 · 15/07/2017 06:50

Pampers are great. No problems with leaking and DS has never had nappy rash.

MetalMidget · 15/07/2017 06:59

My son's been in Pampers mostly (currently in size 4). For the first few months we tried different brands - Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Aldi - but they were bulkier and more prone to leaks. Out of those, the Morrisons and Aldi ones were the best of the bunch.
