I'm working from home in my bedroom, while workmen are fitting floor downstairs. Rest of the family have gone out. A few minutes ago I went to get my toiletries from the bathroom (I'm leaving very soon to get the train to London for an early work thing tomorrow) to find the door locked - assumed it was eldest DC - she must have decided not to go out to PIL's with the rest of them. Then I heard the door open and turned around to see one of the workmen was sitting on the loo looking out of the door, holding it open!
We both said sorry and I went back to my room. What an earth was he thinking? I've got to leave for my train in about 10 minutes and leave them in the house. I don't want to go down there, but have to talk to them about keys etc. Should I say something or pretend it didn't happen?
