I - well dh - have started our Christmas shopping.
In July.
Am I a proper grown up finally or what?

I buy one xmas present a month. Helps so much to spread out cost.

I started in January. Ds has his birthday on Christmas Eve. So I refuse to Christmas shop apart from food in December. Christmas gifts are wrapped by the 10th December at the latest! It's much more relaxing that way and way cheaper. We've saved all out clubcard points for Christmas too, so will barely pay for any food.

Not so impressive really... I did my Christmas shopping in January.... for Christmas 2018.
2017's Christmas was sorted January 2016.

I always celebrate Christmas on its first day, 1st December. By 3rd I'm over it all and excitedly await the first Easter eggs in the shops!

Oh, and I planned my own funeral years ago... been getting impatient that it hasn't happened yet! Will be such an anti-climax when it does.

What are your plans for the Queen's 100th birthday? I've got some bunting sorted and cleared space for the gazebo to go up in the garden. Must bake the cake for it!

excellent. just test them now, make sure they work. x

Better be off... I've got a doctor's appointment today at 4:30pm. It's a 20 minute bus ride so I'd better be off in a bit. I hate it when they call me in and I've not had time to read every magazine in the waiting room from cover to cover.

NanooCov · 13/07/2017 07:14

I always wonder where people stash stuff this early on?! I've no room!

I should be more organised given DS birthday is 27 December, we've multiple other family birthdays in the lead up to Christmas and I'm due another baby in November, but I can't be arsed. I've got as far as making an Amazon wish list and will probably order everything from there!

See I'm an early starter too, but gadgets would worry me. What if it sits in its box for months and then there is a fault with it? You could have a right headache with any return you needed to make.
